Hello friends who are always loyal here, especially those of you who love feathered animals. How are you doing?
Surely always in the best condition. On this occasion I would like to share about a bird known as Owl or with the scientific name Strigiformes. This bird is one of my pets that I found in nature. Because of its uniqueness and beauty, I was interested in taking care of it. Here is the photography of the bird.
In the western world, it is considered a symbol of wisdom, but in some places in Indonesia it is considered a harbinger of death. Unlike most other birds whose eyes face sideways, this bird's eyes are large and forward-facing. Together with a sharply hooked beak like that of an eagle, the feathers on the head form a circular face. Moreover, the bird's neck is so flexible that its face can rotate 180 degrees backwards. Generally, owls are furry, brownish or gray with black and white patches. The owl's tail is generally short, but its wings are large and broad.
The owl's dexterous and strong-gripping legs; and the ability to fly quietly, are fundamental to its ability to hunt in the dark of night. This bird hunts a variety of animals such as insects, toads, mice, and others. It is one of the birds that is often used as a rat exterminator in the agricultural sector. Owls are mortal enemies of rats. Nests are mainly made in tree holes, or between the fronds of palm leaves.
I hope you like it and find it useful. I hope I can be well received in this community. I'll take my leave, hopefully we can meet next time. Thank you for everything. Greetings from feathered animal lovers.
