Greetings to all bird lovers and feathered friends community! I am sharing my entry for the current theme, "Bird on Wire," announced by the host @nelinoeva.
I want to share an interesting bird with you all the wire-tailed swallow Hirundo smithii. Based on our research in India, in our particular area, we did understand. There are four types of swallows around- Barn, Red-rumped, streak-throated, and wire-tailed. Identifying the wire-tailed swallow can be quite challenging. when those swallows fly their tails look like wires during They fly. However, they tend to rest on wires, making it easier to spot them while they are sitting. In our garden, we saw only red-rumped swallows and wire-tailed swallows. here are some photos of this lovely bird that has a fine wire-like tail.
this one is a Red-rumped Swallow Cecropis daurica That doesn't have the fine wire tail.
Thank you, readers, sponsors, and supporters of the community.
