Thanks @nelinoeva for the new contest on Feathered Friends Community and the theme of this week is SHOW ME A PICTURE OF BIRD'S FLEDGLING / YOUNG BIRD . In wild it is very hard to capture young chicks as parents are very protective. My first picture of duckling is in a bird's park, so it was easy to capture and looking cute playing with grass. These all ducklings are lucky to have been raised in a protective environment and not worried about predators. In wild these chicks heavily rely on camouflage ability and parents' guidance. My next pictures of Lapwings chicks were captured in a field near urban area. These young birds were active but were also aware of surrounding and tried to move slowly so no one could recognize their presence. Mostly these chicks' parents keep at distance so that no one could spot these chicks but if they feel any threat they come to rescue.
This little grebe with young spending some quality time in a lake. Mostly they hide into thick bushes but I captured them when they were shifting from one hide to another. They are mostly active in morning or in the evening. At the end sharing some young birds' pictures taken on different locations. In these birds, following birds are included Oriental magpie, Rosy starling, Blue-Capped Rock Thrush and Himalayan Bluetail.
