This is something I had never seen before but had heard of in other places. A murmuration of starlings. Hundreds, or perhaps even thousands, of these birds flying in a swirling and shifting flock, taking over the skies. There is safety in numbers, and formations like this can help keep predators at bay, as it can be very hard and even intimidating to challenge this group. I hope that at some point I can see this again and get some better images and perhaps video, as it was a mesmerizing sight to behold.
