Sparrows are one of the harder birds to get sitting still. I find anytime they see me or my camera they all fly off in a big group never to be seen again. Being able to get some close ups of this one was something I was very grateful for. I was on my way to a park and this one was perched on a sign singing its songs, and I just so happened to have my longer 200-500m lens already attached and could just take the shots without having to get close and cause the bird to fly off.
