Hello there,
In our corner of the world the winter is approaching with fast paces. Temperatures drop and birds puff. Somehow, I picture sparrows when I think of puffed birds. They become rounder and very cute. There is no need to explain how birds keep warm in winter.
The sun was shining, but it was cold. The sparrows were hanging out, some stretching.
Did you notice how sparrows stick together? Very often I miss to see them when they blend with the leaves and dirt. Very seldom we can see a single sparrow. They are together feeding or just resting.
Together is the prompt for this week in #SMaP (Show me a photo Contest) in Feathered Friends Community. So, I chose to show some of my pictures of birds that I reckon fit well in the description together.
If you have not seen the contest post, click 👉here and join the fun. Rules are simple and I would love to see your entries.
The best to describe together and birds in one word would be flock, I think. Look at this squadron of pelicans. I will never stop to admire their formation and grace. Yes, they are graceful when they fly.
Another word to associate with together is family. Some birds raise one chick only, others two, three and more. I was happy to see three little storks in the nest.
Speaking of fledglings, my favorite remain the Long-eared owls, the two siblings. One of them hiding and you can see it just a bit.
And that is my short Together post. Just a glimpse in the birds life.
Happy birding!
Thank you for viewing my post.
