Some say that birds are birds, but I beg to differ as all birds are different.
Take the Pied Crow for instance, ordinary?, definitely not as it is reckoned to be one of the most intelligent birds on the planet.
I have a few birds in here that will show you their differences in habit, breed, and specie. Like all of you might know by now, we are blessed with a multitude of bird species over here in the Western Cape province of South Africa. We also have to dodge the power cuts, so I try to get my posts in during the periods when the power is on. I also have to couple this with our daily work, but we do what we can.
Come and have a look.
A crow will defend it's nest against raptor birds three times it's size.
Now what do you think these fancy-tailed birds are?
I can inform you that they are a couple of Moorhen and they live in dams inland. They have to nest in dense reeds and they are dominated by the Red-knobbed Coot birds.
This one is a Cormorant and it is at home both on land and in the sea. Say fella, have you asked my permission to take my photo? That is my impression of his look.
A pair of Terns were discussing the weather and the power cuts.
Finally, we have a Kelp Gull that is almost just as intelligent as the Pied Crow. Especially when it comes to hunting for food.
We love nature. We love the ocean. And we love all life. This is just our motto in the way that we approach life every day.
People are just as different as the birds are, as we also have raptors, intelligent minds in some, and scheming minds in others, mostly about how to get money for free. Very similar to the Kelp Gulls.
We also display many of the characteristics of the birds in our differences.
I hope that you have enjoyed the post and the story.
Oh I forget! Please keep your eye out tomorrow for my post about a mighty battle by our Harry against a couple of Egyptian goose.
Here is a scene of the battle.
Harry in a full lunge with both feet against the rising enemy.
And That's All Friends.
