With the onset of late autumn and the first frosts, these birds already appear in the cities. They come here in search of food. In this cold season, they eat berries and small fruits, but most often these are rowan berries, the bushes of which grow in my city right in courtyards and parks.
Noisy large flocks occupy the trees and quickly clear the trees of berries, and then try to climb higher to sit and rest and bask in the sun. Now in the spring you can still meet these birds. They fly back north en masse. Moreover, many birds have already found a partner in this flock.
