Good day, Hiveans! Planned trips most of the time, never happen. It will always be a last-minute change of plan or an inserted prior engagement which is more important than the trips. I think spontaneous trips are better.

Today, I want to share our first island adventure of the M.A.R.L.S group. It happened in the year 2021. We are not complete during the adventure but 3 out of 5 means the majority win. We tag and insert the other members if they are not around during the adventure, or we just jokily said that our husband would be the representative to make us complete.
R is one of my friends in a group who worked at Gibitngil Island. The island is part of Medellin, Cebu Philippines. It is a small island with lots of resources. The only access to reach the island is to use a pump boat. The traveling time from the mainland to the island is less than an hour.
To savor the moment that A who was working in Manila Philippines, was in Cebu, we decided to visit the working station of R. There is a tourist spot in Gibitngil called Fantastic Island. Luckily, the plan had no interruption, and able to come to the place.
It’s not my first time visiting the island. Later on, I’ll share my first visit to the place.
R is always the tour guide when visiting the island. Our adventure started late in the morning because we decided to have lunch in the Kawit port. There’s easy access to reach the fantastic island, but R decided to save money so that A can come to the workstation of R, so she decided to use a different route.
After visiting the workstation of R we directly went to the fantastic island. We walked more than 100 meters to reach our destination. Despite the extreme heat from the sun, we were happily walking to the destination because we had a lot of time to talk about many things. Walking while talking is another way of catching up on things. Though I’m not a fan of long walks, being with friends and loved ones is an exemption. In addition, my husband is there to support or tease me when I feel tired while walking. He has his way of encouraging me.
When we arrived, we first had a photo opportunity. A loves to capture good photos. Capturing some photos is our way of rest first from a long walk before we dip in the water. We had a short swimming session on the Fantastic Island. The majority of our time in the water was another chitchat time. When we are together, my husband and R’s husband have their time also since we were classmates during our fourth year in high school. It was another mini-reunion. We reminisced about past experiences during high school time.
We were not planning to stay until evening on the fantastic island, it was a short visit and we walked back to where the pump boats waited for us. Another long walk, I was tired during this time because of the wet clothes to carry on but I’m excited to go home, I don’t mind my tiredness anymore.
Another unplanned trip ended. I hope the next visit we have, we will be complete.
Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post to support and motivate me to write more. Thank you.
