As I shared in the previous post, we had a get-together with my high school friends yesterday. We grabbed the opportunity since A lives in Manila and only visits her hometown once or twice a year. Still, before we had a get-together yesterday, we had another get-together on December 26, 2024.
It happened when R chatted in our group chat on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, about A and whether she had already visited me because our house was the official meeting place of our group and Christmas day is the day of giving gifts to our goddaughters.
I responded that she did not visit our place and it would be impossible to meet the group because I already had a scheduled trip together with my family and I added that we could have a get-together activity on the next day since I had no scheduled plan. R wanted to visit Naga City, Cebu because the place had an amazing Christmas decoration and I already shared how wonderful the architectural design of Naga City is since I visited the place last March 2024. I told them that truly the place of Naga is a good place to visit.
I asked my husband if it was fine for him to travel to South Cebu because after the travel we had a scheduled training and he answered that it was fine to travel to South Cebu as long as we traveled early morning. My friends agreed on the plan.
On the next day, the planned trip, my husband and I picked A first followed by R. We planned to pick S at Cebu City. We traveled early at 5:40 am and went directly to the downtown. Since we did not have our breakfast because of the early trip, we decided to have it at McDo. Unfortunately, we were so focused on our updates of each life that we forgot to get some documentation.
After having our breakfast, we continued our trip.
Part two will be the mystery of whether S would be able to join us or not. What do think?
The picture was taken when we arrived at our unexpected destination.
