Y'ello fam! Trust we're all good?
I am @fulfillment. Its my first time posting here ☺️
The journey in school has been fun and educational. It becomes much easier when you have "good, sound, intelligent, and purpose-driven" friends around you. So I had been in school for more than 6 months; in fact, we finished our first semester. I didn't know these guys.
I was just trying to figure out a sweet cord or fold that'll be warm, educative, and a set of people that are worth calling friends. On a cool Monday morning, I entered school that day without doing the assignment that was given in the previous class because my weekend was very hectic.
I just entered town that day. I had to travel to go get food and stuffs for the new week. So as I entered the classroom, I heard that the course rep would be getting the assignment from us that morning. Then, looking at my left hand, I saw a guy named Wisdom cross-checking his assignment thoroughly. "Hey man! Can I check out your assignment?" I asked humbly with all my steeze untouched (hahaha). He looked at me and handed over the assignment to me with a serious face. Looking at the paper, I saw the chemical engineering department, and I turned again and asked him, Are you in the chemical engineering department?? He responded with a nod. I was wondering which kinda lizard I've just met (lolz).
After the encounter, we exchanged contacts, and that evening I bombarded him with plenty of questions in mathematics, and he proved himself strong, so I just knew I'd found a strong and intelligent person I can always relate to. Our bond started growing, and he later introduced me to two of his friends, Umoh and Emmanuel. We started moving together as four wise and staunch comrades. Others became jealous of our relationship because it was a gang of intellectuals. Some tried to break in, but it could work out for them.
The sweetest is that I'm the tallest in this fold (hahaha).
Emmanuel, on the other hand, has been a very industrious, determined, and self motivated young lad who is a good photographer. He is a boy to one of the media assistants of the governor in my state (to tell you how good he is).
Time will fail me to talk about Victor, who is a strong comrade too and also a prolific fashion designer. We've had some nice collabos in the music studio before. He played drums while I did some magic on the piano.
This is Victor Umoh
BALANCING ACADEMICS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES.
In the course of our relationship, I've noticed that with all the potential that these guys have and their multi-talented natures, they know so much about balancing academics and social and other activities. On several occasions, he will always reach out to me whenever he sees me on Facebook to ask me if I'm reading. He tries so hard to see that I don't get discouraged academically at any point. In a tech era as ours, these guys have also deployed means of survival without letting their academics suffer the pains. Indeed, they're really worthy of being called friends. They have played a great role in my academic journey.
HOSTEL LIFE
In year one, Emma and I stayed in the hostel, but as we progressed, he discovered life outside school was more convenient for him, so he moved out of the hostel.
Wisdom never once loved hostels, so he continued staying off campus. Out of boredom and everything, I reached out to Victor and convinced him of the advantages and needs of his stay in the hostel. He contemplated so much at first, but later agreed with me and moved to the hostel.
I was very happy to see him, and luckily for us, we were given the same room, and our bond became stronger.
Till today, we are still in the same room, and he can't go out to eat without going with me, and the same is true here with me. Umoh is indeed a cool guy that everyone would love to have around. [Whispering] He wants to buy a car before we leave school (hehehe).
Wisdom, I and Emmanuel
AT THE END.
Today, I'm sending a big shout-out to them all. I know they'll soon join me here on the Hive block chain. I can't wait to interact with all of them here.
Shout out to all my friends here on hive too.
Thank you for your time.
Let me know in the comment box if you had or have a best friend in school.
Cheers!!
As a French lover, I'll leave you with this
Au Revoir (goodbye).
