It has been a long time, that I was not able to return to the HIVE, been caught between a rock and a hard place, so to say. So it takes time to get out of it, and continue fighting the battle in the field of honor called LIFE. Sometimes fighting all alone was so tiring, especially when you felt that you are losing the battle, no matter what you do. It is an easy way out to give up and throw the towel. Yet it was foolhardy to just leave the field of honor, without giving yourself a chance, to redeem your honor and dignity.
It was on the time that you dropped your sword and shield, when you are on your most vulnerable moment when you find yourself truly wishing so hard that someone might come along and watch your back. When someone will be there right by your side at the right time, pulling you up, dusting your armor and shield, telling you, ”Keep on, I got your back!” That’ll be the most sweetest words you'd ever need to ignite once more, the fire in you that’s about to be snuff out.
How precious it will be when you got a friend like that, a friend that values and cherish who you are, one who brought healing to your soul, one who picked your broken pieces and meticulously put it back together. One who gives love unconditionally, willingly and do not seek anything in return or any compensation. Such friend is a rare commodity nowadays.
Do you have a friend like that? Where your relationships goes beyond the ordinary? It transcends race, age, gender, even educational background and cultural or religious differences. If yes, then you have found a friend worth all the precious gems in the world. Cherish the treasure of such friendship. It only happens once in a lifetime for a thousand years. Never ever let go of that friend!
Here in our HIVE community, I found one! In spite of all our peculiarities and individual uniqueness and differences, we establish such friendship, I for one, cannot believe it existed. Perhaps, in our previous life, we had been such a great friend too. I dunno what makes us just fuse in. I could never fathom that! Ti’s one reason, why I will always be grateful joining our HIVE community. I found a great treasure…a most awesome friend!
It was during those times when things seems to be A OK with me, Not in my wildest dream that I dream of meeting such person. My friend was never found in my radar, nor cause any ripples to catch my attention, I didn’t even notice nor recall when it all started. Its just that everything seems to slide in place. Indeed, it’s true that you will know who your real friends are when things get rough and tough. Then you will see who abandon ships or who stays behind with you. This is the kind of friend that I found, and I am so bless to have such!
We have shared so many things, like travels, books, writing, coffee and even just talking anything under the sun. My friend told me, whenever I’ll get lost, my friend will search for me, if I become a vagabond, my friend will bring me home... t’was the sweetest thing, I ever heard. And on my own end, I told my friend, “I may not give or find solution to my friend’s problems, but this I guarantee, I will not let my friend face such problem alone!"
I put this in writing because I just want my friend to know, that where ever this friendship or relationships end up, “I always got your six.” To all the beautiful people here in our wonderful community, I know you can relate with me, for we all need appreciation, attention and affection. I knew too that here in our community, awesome friendships and relationships grows and blossomed. So when you have the opportunity to find a great friend, look for the one who will stay with you through fire and water, one who will watch over you, as you try to save yourself, accept you in your insanity, or even understands your peculiarity. One who in a moment, will run through hail when you call, will laugh, cry, and dance in the rain with you or just stay silent by your side whenever you’re out of touch with reality. That my dearest Hivers, is the “Treasure of a true friendship!”
Thank you for taking the time to pause and peruse over my post, an inadequate way of celebrating friendship. May one day, one moment in time, you too, will meet a friend, one you can also celebrate!
Life is beautiful! Enjoy life to the fullest! Carpe Diem
