Hello friends of @familyandfriends. Happy New Year 2023. I am pleased to write for you my Christmas activities and especially those for the New Year, which is what this week in the community is about.
I love writing about Christmas since I consider that it is a month in which we share with the family expressing our love to each one, the union is important since together we create our delicious dishes that we share at the table.
There is a banquet in which we do not care how much we spend, it is enough to have a good time and eat, dance and laugh. Enjoy the company that perhaps we do not have throughout the year but that this Christmas Eve and New Year we do not miss for anything.
It was close to ringing the bells, the street was full of rockets and fireworks of all kinds and all colors. the children enjoyed their famous Little Stars, it is a rod full of gunpowder that when lit looks like a snowflake but on fire. It is very cute but it can be dangerous, so each mother was aware of each child.
I grab New Years in Colombia with my son and his family, but always having contact with my daughters in Venezuela. We ate our delicious banquet and at 11 pm (Colombian time) they called me to receive the Happy New Year via WhatsApp call. Then, with 20 minutes to 12, we went 2 blocks near the house to receive the cannon shot with the Venezuelan friends we have in Colombia.
My only tradition in particular is to have a good time with my family, the rest comes when it has to come. The only thing that I did ask for as I wish is that my family can be together again like previous years since it is dispersed among several countries due to the migration that exists in my country.
Reheating cannot be missing on the 1st of January, that day (just like the 25th) it is not cooked, that day everything that is left of the 31st is eaten. What we did with so much love for these dates seems to be much better on the overheated, what a feast!!
For all the expenses of the month of December, I personally do the following: I start from the month of August to buy perishable things and food, whatever I can save so that the expense does not come out in a single amount since it could be difficult to acquire in its entirety. I give them to you as advice.
And so Christmas ends, missing many things from the old year like my beautiful mother, but longing for a new year full of happiness, peace, prosperity, health and love for the whole year. I will review 2022, but for 2023 I will only set short-term goals and I will let what the creator wants to give me arrive, which I know will be many good, joyful, and profitable things.

Mi noche de Año Nuevo en familia.
Hola amigos de @familyandfriends. Feliz Año Nuevo 2023. Me complace escribir para ustedes mis actividades d Navidad y en especial las de año nuevo que es sobre lo que trata esta semana en la comunidad.
Me encanta escribir sobre la Navidad ya que considero que es un mes en el que compartimos con la familia expresando nuestro amor a cada uno, la union es importante ya que juntos creamos nuestros ricos platos que compartimos en la mesa.
Hay un banquete en el cual no nos importa cuanto gastamos, solo basta pasarla bien y comer, bailar y reir. Disfrutar de la compañia que quizas no tenemos durante todo el año pero que este dia de Noche buena y de Año Nuevo no nos perdemos por nada.
Ya estaba cerca de sonar las campanas, la calle estaba llena de cohetes y fuegos artificiales de todo tipo y de todos los colores. los niños disfrutaban de sus famosas Estrellitas, es una varilla llena de polvora que cuando se enciende parece un copo de nieve pero encendido. Es muy lindo pero puede ser peligroso, asi que cada mama estuvo pendiente de cada niño.
Año Nuevo me agarro en Colombia junto a mi hijo y su familia, pero siempre teniendo contacto con mis hijas en Venezuela. Cenamos nuestro rico banquete y a las 11 de la noche (hora de Colombia) me llamaron para recibir el Feliz Año via llamada Whatsapp. Luego, faltando 20 minutos para las 12 nos fuimos 2 cuadras cerca de la casa a recibir el cañonazo con los amigos Venezolanos que tenemos en Colombia.
Mi unica tradicion en especial es pasarla bien junto a mi familia, lo demas llega cuando tenga que llegar. Lo unico que si pedi como deseo es que mi familia pueda estar junta otra vez como años anteriores ya que esta dispersa entre varios paises por la migracion que hay en mi pais.
El recalentado no puede faltar el dia 1ro de Enero, ese dia (igual que el 25) no se cocina, ese dia se come todo lo que quedo del 31. Lo que hicimos con tanto amor para estas fechas parece que estuviera mucho mejor en el recalentado, vaya banquete !!
Y asi terminan las Navidades, extrañando muchas cosas del año viejo como a mi hermosa madre, pero anhelando tener un nuevo año lleno de felicidad, paz, prosperidad, salud y amor durante el año completo. Hare revision del 2022, pero para el 2023 solo me hare metas a corto tiempo y dejare que vaya llegando lo que el creador me quiera regalar que se que seran muchas cosas buenas, alegres y provechosas.
Para todo el gasto del mes de Diciembre, yo en lo particular hago lo siguiente: Comienzo desde el mes de Agosto a comprar las cosas y los alimentos perecederos, lo que pueda ir guardando para que el gasto no salga en un solo monto ya que podria ser dificil de adquirir en su totalidad. Se los doy como consejo.
