Party in any kinds is one of the events that most kids love and year-end party is one of them.
My son’s year-end party was scheduled December 15, 2023 (It is too late to post about this, but it is better late than never and this will also serve as my son's remembrance where we can look back someday.
Here is the short program.
The preparation
We had a meeting on what to do or what to bring during the said event. Parents agreed to bring food on our own but we listed what we would bring to avoid bringing the same food. I noticed that most of them bring viand and desserts and no fruits. So, I decided to bring watermelon as my potluck.
About the gifts, we agreed that the parents will be the one to give gifts for the kids. Teacher advised us to buy gifts that the kids would love. My son keeps on wishing to have blocks as gift and we grant his wish.
Some of the parents did the decoration in our classroom. I wasn’t able to help because I have some work in my sister in law’s shop.
Year-end party
We started a little bit late because we were waiting for other kids to come.
The program started and the kids were so excited. I took a picture of my son first for a remembrance.
Here he is and he looks so excited.
Here is my son with his cousin.
Here are their Christmas tree (decorated with Christmas balls made by the students with parents assistance) and the gifts given by the parents for their children.
Picture taking
Here are the Girls of KD Advance Class.
Here are the Boys of KD Advance Class
Here's the whole class with their teacher. Most of us tried to get a picture of this because this is one thing that our child would love to look back when they grow up. We parents told each other that 20 years after they will love to look their faces when they are young.
Here are the supportive parents of KD Advance Class. We are not just parents but we also became friends.
Parlor games
The kids enjoyed the parlor games. They played balloon caterpillar where every kids had balloon. The first one will go in front, followed by another and so on. The first to finish won.
They also played head, shoulders, knees, toes and grab. This game is also educational because the students will identify the parts of their body through this game. When the host will say grab, they will grab the Santa hat.
Gift giving
During the gift giving, their teacher pick each of the gift and call the kids name. Every child is so excited and so happy receiving their gifts.
When everyone received their gifts, they open it all together.
Lunch
We all shared the food we brought and enjoy having lunch together.
I haven't have pictures during this time (we all enjoyed eating, lol.)
Bonding at Dolores Farm Resort
After the party in school, parents decided to have a continued bonding at Dolores Farm Resort, where kids will surely enjoy.
We bring all the foods left to the resort. Some parents have their drinking sessions while me and other parents accompanied our kids to the pool.
Kids really had fun in the pool. They play, swim and chit chat like there's no tomorrow, lol.
Here are some of them at the pool. These pictures will also serve as their remembrance with their K2 classmates.
Kids really had fun that day and my son sleep so early that night, lol. Parents are also happy seeing the kids happy and having fun with their classmates.
Moments like this is like a treasure that our kids will cherish for the lifetime. So, parents let's support our kids and help them make good memories not just with their classmates but as well as with us their parents.
Thank you so much for reading.
