Hola amigos, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una linda salida madre e hija que hicimos para ir en busca de un regalo para mi hermana que estaba de cumpleaños, ya teníamos en mente lo que queríamos regalarle, una plancha para el cabello, pero aún no sabíamos donde podríamos encontrarla a buen precio, ya que mientras íbamos recorriendo el centro de Valencia los precios oscilaban entre los 35$, 47$ hasta los 70$ hasta que finalmente dimos con la tienda correcta.
Hi friends, today I want to share with you a nice mother and daughter outing we did to go in search of a gift for my sister who had a birthday, we already had in mind what we wanted to give her, a hair straightener, but we still didn't know where we could find it at a good price, because as we went around the down town of Valencia the prices ranged from 35$, 47$ to 70$ until we finally found the right shop.

Esta es una tienda que tiene muchos años en la ciudad, fundada principalmente por árabes (según lo que tengo entendido) y allí venden absolutamente de todo lo que se te ocurra: productos para el hogar, de uso personal, en fin, muchas cosas, lo mejor de todo es que venden productos de marcas reconocidas, de muy buena calidad y a buenos precios, mi mamá siempre compraba ahí, así que me dijo "¿Cómo no se me ocurrió antes? Quizá allí podamos conseguirla"
But suddenly my mum was enlightened by an idea ‘How about going to El Puntazo del San? This is a shop that has been in the city for many years, founded mainly by Arabs (as far as I understand) and there they sell absolutely everything you can think of: products for the home, personal use, in short, many things, the best of all is that they sell products of recognised brands, of very good quality and at good prices, my mum always shopped there, so she said to me ‘How did I not think of that before? Maybe we can get it there’.
Mi mamá estaba emocionada echándoles un vistazo a las cocinas y neveras, las cuales estaban a precios realmente maravillosos, de hecho, ya sabemos donde podremos comprar nuestra futura nueva cocina, Dios mediante.
My mum was excited to have a look at the stove and fridges, which were at really wonderful prices, in fact, we already know where we will be able to buy our future new stover, God willing.
Finalmente allí estaba, justo la plancha de cabello que estábamos buscando, una con placas de titanio y además encontramos una de marca Bella liss, la cual está muy bien posicionada en el mercado últimamente, y además de ser un producto de buena calidad, lo encontramos a un excelente precio, solo 21$
Finally there it was, just the hair straightener we were looking for, one with titanium plates and we also found a Bella liss brand, which is very well positioned in the market lately, and besides being a good quality product, we found it at an excellent price, only 21$.
Luego de pagar el producto fuimos para el area de prueba donde un técnico se aseguró de que el producto funcionara correctamente. Al inicio me asusté un poco al darme cuenta de que al parecer la plancha no calentaba, pero él me explicó que ella tarda un poco en calentar, pero cuando lo hace puede alcanzar temperaturas muy elevadas, y en efecto lo hizo.
After paying for the product we went to the test area where a technician made sure that the product was working properly. At first I was a bit scared when I realised that the hair straightener didn't seem to heat up, but he explained that it takes a while to heat up, but when it does it can reach very high temperatures, and indeed it did.
También aprovechamos para visitar el casco histórico de la ciudad con doble propósito, uno era acompañar a mi madre a hacer algunas fotos para su blog, ya que desde que es creadora de contenido aquí en Hive se entusiasma mucho con la idea de escribir post y documentar sus salidas, así como todo lo que encuentra y le parece interesante, y el otro propósito era pasar tiempo de calidad juntas. Fue así como llegamos a esta preciosa estatua del Doctor José Gregorio Hernández, hombre de Ciencia y de fe, quien trajo al país muchos beneficios científico como el primer microscopio y también reforzó nuestra fe cristiana, a él se le atribuyen milagros (en nombre de Dios, desde luego) y por esa razón está a punto de ser canonizado por la iglesia católica.
We also took the opportunity to visit the historic centre of the city for two purposes, one was to accompany my mother to take some photos for her blog, since she is a content creator here at Hive she is very enthusiastic about writing posts and documenting her outings, as well as everything she finds and finds interesting, and the other purpose was to spend some quality time together. That's how we came to this beautiful statue of Doctor José Gregorio Hernández, a man of Science and faith, who brought to the country many scientific benefits such as the first microscope and also reinforced our Christian faith, he is credited with miracles (in the name of God, of course) and for that reason he is about to be canonised by the Catholic church.
Y finalmente llegamos a casa con nuestra maravillosa adquisición, la plancha además viene con un cepillo especial, sus placas son de titanio, lo cual desprende iones que evitan le frizz en el cabello, tiene cuatro niveles de calentamiento y un cable bastante largo que además es giratorio de 360°
And finally we arrived home with our wonderful acquisition, the iron also comes with a special brush, its plates are made of titanium, which releases ions that prevent frizz in the hair, has four levels of heating and a fairly long cable that is also rotatable 360 °.
La metimos en una bolsa para regalos junto a los otros y nos preparamos para entregársela el día de su cumpleaños.
