Yesterday was my baby's first children's day. There was a kind of excitement I had. It was as though I was the one celebrating the Children's Day. I'm still someone's child, right? Haha.
My plan was to hang out with a friend of mine and her son but the money we were expecting didn't come on time. I would have used my monthly pay, but I hadn't gotten it, yet.
So, I played with her and gave her some toys to play with. Her voice was really loud while she was playing and I wondered if she knew what day it was.
I made up my mind to get her some new clothes by the weekend as she is already outgrowing some of her clothes.
At noon, we went for my private lessons. After teaching the first student in his house, we went to the next house. I knew for sure that they would celebrate Children's Day as their father is someone who doesn't take these special days for granted.
It happened that they were just returning from their outing. Their dad took them to have fun as the children that they are. So sweet.
I started to teach them when he walked to me and handed me some cash.
"Take this. Use it to get something for baby." He said.
I was amazed. I mean, I wasn't really expecting it. 😅 After I gave birth and resumed teaching them, he gave me some amount of money, too. So, I was really speechless.
I thanked him so well and my heart was gladdened.
As soon as I finished teaching, I went to get her the clothes as I had planned. The price of things have really gone up, even babies clothes.
I believe we'll be fine at the end. So, I got her these clothes.
I love this one. It's so simple, yet beautiful.
I got this for her because of the cold. The weather these days is cold, especially since it's raining now.
I also got this jacket for her because of the cold. It would match with her red shoe.😅
I'll get more for her by the weekend. I just couldn't go by without gifting her. She's such a blessing.
Thank you for reading through.
