First of all, I want to use this medium to wish myself and all the men around the globe a happy International Men's Day. To be a man as it is often said is not a day's job. Men are symbols of strength, resilience, and hard work. The world would not be what it is today if there was no male gender. Men are seen as protectors and security for everything in the world. That's the reason men are to be strong because all other things rely on and depend on us for survival and existence.
The role of men in the family and the society cannot be overemphasized. A family that lacks the man's figure is usually obvious in the behaviors and character of the members of the family and society at large. The presence of a man brings orderliness and good behavior because men do not condone indiscipline and mediocrity. A man is a foundation and pillar of society and his absence will result in disasters and catastrophes. Men are blessings to the universe.
This day is a call to everyone to see the importance of men in society and the family. Hence, women should celebrate the men and wish them well in all their endeavors because of the wars and atrocities faced by men daily. They also need people to talk to, people who will listen to their plights and also lend a helping hand.
Therefore, as the world marks International Day for men, I wish all the men all around the globe more strength and wisdom to be able to take their place as men and not relinquish their responsibilities. Above all, men should make more money and live well so that they can shoulder many responsibilities put on them.
