I'm super happy that we're visiting different places these past few months, not always but from time to time, compared to before when we were always stuck at home, but thats also our choice. I can do this again now that I'm better. Although all of our visits have reasons, we still get to enjoy those quick trips, especially me. The only downside of going outside that often is that it's too expensive, even if it's just nearby (ꈍᴗꈍ).
Just like yesterday, we're scheduled to go back into the City Hall in Pinamalayan yesterday, so we really have to go. We prepared earlier at 8 am so that we can finish our business in there. I'm with Mama, like always. We're the best tandem here, she's my forever companion, hehe. And the truth is, our business in City Hall involves me and Mama ╮(＾▽＾)╭, so we really have to go there together ┏(＾0＾)┛.
Going to the terminal, we were accompanied by Creamy White, again, lol. When he sees Mama wearing a cap, he'll automatically follow Mama like a shadow. Lol. He is always like that, it's sweet because it's like he is seeing us off ┏(＾0＾)┛.
We arrived in City Hall after an hour of travel. And because we are early, we are also the first to arrive at City Hall. After us, more people came by, good thing we decided to go there earlier. We finish our business in there after more than an hour of waiting. It took that look because the papers were being updated in another city and will just be sent via email to them. But unfortunately today, they are having a problem with their email, so it took a lot of time.
We got so hungry waiting for more than an hour, so we decided to have an early dinner. I mean, I think 11 a.m. is not early anymore. Lol. We had our breakfast at 6:30 am, so it's just normal that we're hungry right. Lol. We had rice, embutido, and chop suey for our lunch. They have free soup too, a beef soup, it tastes really good. It's hot, and I sip it like it is hot coffee. As for the other dish, I don't like the embutido, it's way too sweet! I didn't finish it, so I gave the rest to Mama. I enjoy the chop suey though.
After eating, we decided to buy "Binangkal" in one of our new favorite bakery stores. It's just near where we had our lunch, so we just walk to get there. I also buy their "Custard Cake" and "Tuna Bread." By the way, Binangkal recipe is all over in facebook comments, it's really famous now for some reason, lol. I find it funny coz they leave Binangkal Recipe even though it's off topic, lol. Like srsly! Lol
Anyway, we move to another location, which is in the park. We saw a food stall on the way there, and the coconut juice was so tempting, so we bought some. We also get a cheese stick, but the cheese is nowhere to be found. Lolol. We enjoy it either way, and I like that it is super crispy. I also like the coconut juice, it has chunks of grated young coconut, so it tastes really good.
We arrived in the park, and the reason why we chose to hang out here was because of their free wifi. Mama needed it, she even said it's been a long time since she last watched her favorite vlogger on YouTube - even though it was just a week ago, lol.
We chose this spot because this is where the wifi signal is stronger. Lol. And look at Mama watching on YouTube now. Lol
And to enjoy it more, we decided to eat the custard cake here. It's actually a big cake, so we just cut it in half.
I really like the sponge cake on this cake, it is not too sweet, and you know it has a bitter sweetness that goes well with its sweetness, it came from the caramelizes sugar, I think. Yum, yum! I enjoyed it, so is Mama. This is not the first time I had this custard cake. I had it with my oldies the last time I went to Pinamalayan. ⟵(๑¯◡¯๑)
This is one of the reason why that bakery shop where we buy this is our favorite now. Aside from it's affordable, their bread is really delicious. Special mention to that Tuna Bread. I saw a chunks of tuna in their tuna bread. And its cheap, for 5 pesos, we can have a donut like tuna break. I'll buy it again for sure, next time ＼(^o^)／.
