To be honest, there's a lot of food that I haven't tried yet in my 30 years of existence. My oldies are not the kind who explore food cuisine, as they are always on the safe side, eating only what they know and have ideas about it. I mean, there's already a number of kinds of foods in the Philippines, but I can only name a few that I tried. Mommy F and Mama can be more open when it comes to trying foods, but it's a rare occurrence. It's not like those foods are cheap and can be bought with just a couple of dollars.
Anyway, I had the chance to finally taste lasagna. I can just watch people eating this pasta dish on some vloggers or in cooking shows, but now I finally had a taste of it. And I am in regrets as to why I only tried it today. Why not 10 years ago or 20 years ago? Aigooo. Still, I am so thankful that I finally had the chance to try it ಥ_ಥ. And the reason why I get that chance is my mommy F. It is already in her plan that we will have a takeout in Greenwich, specifically pizza.
But then we saw their promo, which is already good for two people, but because it has pizza and other things, Mom chose that meal. That promo consists of one pizza, then lasagna with fried chicken, it has tea too, and a garlic stick. Not bad, right? It's almost 500 PHP. They are encouraging us to get the other promo, which is good for four people, but it cost more, and we don't have that much money though, lol. The four of us can just share and have a bite of each. Still, we'll get to taste it, so that's what's important.
We choose our order to the lady, and they say we only have to wait five minutes, I think. We made this order when we're about to get home. As the plan is to have a takeout and eat it at home. So we headed to one of the chairs inside, but then I suddenly felt the need to pee. So I visit the comfort room inside to do my business. And we didn't stay that long inside because, after, I think, five minutes, they handed our order to us.
And tadaaaaaan! I really want to eat these when we get back to the mall, as we are waiting for Mommy D and her sister. But I held back because I'm still full that time with our lunch. I love to eat, but I can't really eat that much. Mama actually got annoyed at me because every time Mommy F asks if I want to eat this or that, I'll say no, as I am still full. Which is true too, lol. But aside from that, I just really don't want Mommy F to spend so much for me. I'm already happy with just this family trip with them. The food is really just a bonus ＼(^o^)／.
When we get home, I immediately grab the garlic bread inside the paper bag and eat it. Lol. Because, why not? Lol.
Then I grabbed this box next, where the lasagna and fried chicken are. I can't really smell it, but by the looks of it, it's enough to make my stomach growl in hunger. Just want to flex this fork and spoon made out of wood, or is it wood? Not really sure, but it's not made of plastic.
And here's the lasagna, now seeing this again made me crave some. Too bad it's two hours away from us, huhu. But on the good side, I'm thankful that Greenwich is far from home. At least I don't have to spend a lot of it, lol. But still, I love the texture of lasagna. I love it's creaminess, and the beefy flavor is just right for me. I want eat this all, but I let Mama taste it too, and she said it's delicious. It tastes "patikim pa." Lol. Mommy F like it too, As for Mommy D, she didn't enjoy it. Because maybe she ate it cold, that's why. I'll have this again if I'm given a chance.
And as for the pizza, well, we had it the next day. For breakfast. And it is soooooo effing good! Now I'm really hungry (ꈍᴗꈍ).
