Espero sea un gran día! El día de hoy les quiero hablar de un bonito proyecto que hicimos para mi lindo ahijado el hijo de mi querida amiga y comadre @oscarly, se trata del proyecto final de lapso escolar y la asignación era construir una maqueta y un disfraz con el árbol de Cotoperiz, este arbol esta distribuido desde Mexico hasta el norte de Suramerica y es usualmente empleado para dar sombra a los potreros de pastoreo, si también yo aprendí algo en este proyecto.
Para hacer la maqueta empleamos un trozo cuadrado de cartón y con una rama seca que encontramos en el patio comenzamos a construir, para hacer la textura del suelo usamos piedras pintadas de colores, simulando el pasto y el agua, y para las ramas probamos primero con fibra, pero no resultó buena idea y terminamos usando papel dándole forma con la manos; para el disfraz usamos papel craft para el tronco y usamos pintura al frío para dibujar la corteza del árbol y para la copa usamos papel araña coloreado de verde.
Luego de animarlo todo estos días a estudiar toda la información de este arbol me sentí muy orgullosa de verlo decir todo su parlamento a la perfección y aunque al principio tenía algo de temor y no quería usar el traje, termino accediendo y para premiarlo lo llevamos a comer una dulce barquilla al finalizar la clase.

Today I want to talk about a nice project we did for my beautiful godson the son of my dear friend and comadre @oscarly, this is the final project of the school year and the assignment was to build a model and a costume with the Cotoperiz tree, this tree is distributed from Mexico to the north of South America and is usually used to shade the pasture paddocks, yes I also learned something in this project.
To make the model we used a square piece of cardboard and with a dry branch that we found in the yard we started to build it, to make the texture of the ground we used stones painted in different colours, simulating grass and water, and for the branches we first tried with fibre, but it was not a good idea and we ended up using paper to shape it with our hands; for the costume we used craft paper for the trunk and we used cold paint to draw the bark of the tree and for the top we used spider paper coloured green.
After encouraging him all these days to study all the information about this tree I felt very proud to see him say all his speech perfectly and although at the beginning he was a bit afraid and didn't want to wear the costume, he ended up agreeing and to reward him we took him to eat a sweet waffle at the end of the class.
