Greetings to all Hivers. May God's peace and love abide in all of you.
Today I am pleased to share with all of you my experience as a Sunday school teacher in the local church where I congregate, which is called “Gethsemane”.
My work is specifically with children between the ages of 7 and 10.
Since the problem of the pandemic began at the global level, services in local churches have been greatly affected, the truth is that we are currently meeting once in the week of relaxation by mandates of the national government.
In each week of relaxation, specifically on Sunday, all the brothers gather and it is my responsibility, together with two other sisters, to carry out the children's class.
The senior pastor's wife is in charge of working with children ages 4 to 6, and myself and another sister work with children ages 7 to 10.
In children's classes we teach very important Christian values such as love for God and for parents. In the same way, children are taught about honesty, companionship, friendship, sincerity, solidarity and love of neighbor.
In each class of child, a biblical story is chosen that teaches the principles and values contained in the story and teaches the children how to put them into practice in their lives.
Children love to act out Bible stories, which are easy for them to learn when they have to act out each character in the story.
As a Hivers user, I am pleased to share with the entire community my experience as a children's Sunday school teacher. It is valuable that we can share knowledge and interact in our prestigious HeartChurch community.
