Espero se encuentren de maravilla, yo me encuentro muy emocionada por mostrar las remodelaciones que he hecho en el cuarto que habito ahora en la casa de una querida amiga @oscarly, ella adquirio su casa hace ya un par de años, pero le hacia falta mucho amor y ella la compro teniendo en cuenta el reto que significaba convertirlo el hogar de sus sueños y que poco a poco se ha convertido en una realidad.

I hope you are doing great, I am very excited to show the remodeling I have done in the room I live in now in the house of a dear friend @oscarly, she bought her house a couple of years ago, but it lacked a lot of love and she bought it taking into account the challenge of making it the home of her dreams and that little by little has become a reality.
Yo habito en esta casa desde 2 de mayo del pasado año y fue a partir de finales del año pasado que comenzaron las remodelaciones mas fuertes en la sala de la casa, y yo estuve muy involucrada en todo el proceso, como ayudante del albañil y hasta fui capaz de preparar mezclas de cemento o estuco para tapar algunas imperfecciones de la pared, como fue un trabajo muy cansado y bastante polvoriento, no tuve muca oportunidad de tomar fotografías, pero acá están algunas del proceso.
I have lived in this house since May 2nd of last year and it was at the end of last year that the major remodeling began in the living room of the house, and I was very involved in the whole process, as an assistant to the mason and I was even able to prepare cement or stucco mixtures to cover some imperfections in the wall, as it was a very tiring and dusty job, I didn't have much opportunity to take pictures, but here are some of the process.
Para la remodelación del cuarto yo decidí no solamente contribuir con mano de obra, sino también con el recurso económico para los materiales como el estuco para encamisar las paredes y cemento para corregir el piso, el cuarto tiene unas dimensiones de 3x3 y se utilizaron en total 5 sacos de estuco blanco, pero antes de comenzar el encamisado, se coloco un cableado interno para un par de tomas corrientes y el hueco para colocar un pequeño aire acondicionado, y rellenar la pared hasta arriba y unirlo completamente con el techo.
For the remodeling of the room I decided not only to contribute with labor, but also with the economic resource for materials such as stucco to encase the walls and cement to correct the floor, the room has dimensions of 3x3 and a total of 5 bags of white stucco were used, but before starting the encasement, an internal wiring was placed for a couple of outlets and the hole to place a small air conditioner, and fill the wall up to the top and join it completely with the ceiling.
Luego que el cemento estuvo seco se comenzó con la aplicación del estuco, lo primero que se realizo fue el raspado de las paredes para desprender todas las piedras sueltas de la superficie y luego de haber preparado una buena porción de estuco se aplico con la ayuda de una llana para alisar y perfeccionar la superficie, esta labor se realizo en tiempo record, en solo un día se completo todo el cuarto, y cuando por fin pensé que podría volver a habitar mi cuarto surgió la recomendación del albañil, pues el piso se encontraba gravemente desnivelado, ya estábamos conscientes de ello, pero el sugirió arreglarlo antes de volver a entrar mis pertenencias.
After the cement was dry we started with the application of the stucco, the first thing that was done was the scraping of the walls to remove all the loose stones from the surface and after having prepared a good portion of stucco was applied with the help of a trowel to smooth and perfect the surface, This work was done in record time, in just one day the whole room was completed, and when I finally thought I could return to inhabit my room, the mason's recommendation came up, because the floor was seriously uneven, we were already aware of it, but he suggested to fix it before returning to enter my belongings.
Así fue que comenzó la tercera fase para mejorar mi habitación, se compro un metro de arena procesada y 3 sacos de cemento para hacer el nuevo piso, que fue bastante mas grueso de lo esperado, para nivelar el piso usaron una manguera con agua para llevar el suelo de la casa a un solo nivel y admito que no conocía esa técnica, pero me pareció muy ingeniosa.
So began the third phase to improve my room, they bought a meter of processed sand and 3 bags of cement to make the new floor, which was much thicker than expected, to level the floor they used a hose with water to bring the floor of the house to a single level and I admit that I did not know that technique, but I found it very ingenious.
Luego de dos días de secado por fin pude habitar nuevamente mi cuarto y así es como luce actualmente! Me gusta mucho lo bonita que luce actualmente es un placer habitar en un cuarto lindo y saber que fue mi propio esfuerzo el que me ha dado esa satisfacción, aun faltan algunos detalles, pero la comodidad es inigualable.
After two days of drying, I was finally able to inhabit my room again and this is how it looks now! I really like how nice it looks now, it is a pleasure to live in a nice room and know that it was my own effort that has given me that satisfaction, there are still some details missing, but the comfort is unmatched.
