Aftermath of our actions.

At this point, I don't even know what else to say. Every human on earth has a right, but if you are in a place such right is trampled on for too long, standing up for yourself when you've been slapped numerous times would be very hard.

The moment someone gets to that kind of place emotionally, they become robots controlled by their masters to do their bidding. Such a world some of us now leave in, sadly. The August first protest, which has been said weeks before its commencement to end bad governance, is finally going on in different states, and it is quite heartbreaking seeing and reading the news that pops up on my timeline. Police brutality, thugs and other paid citizens coming out to stop these protesters from speaking out what they want. It is tragic.

Now, speaking on the paid citizens whose banner reads, "Say No To Protest" are someone's mother, father, siblings, husband and wife who have been dealt with by poverty to the extent that someone paying them a token to fight against what they shouldn't is what they are doing while the payer(people in power) sit at home and enjoy a nice cold drink with fresh air watching as citizens tear themselves apart.

It is so disheartening knowing this, and I can't help pin this to the things most of us do or are already doing in life. How we are willing to sacrifice the well known truth for a lie just to get a position, flex life and whatnot knowing deeply that our actions are killing and will continue to kill the 'conscience' we once had.

Then we'd become exactly what we detest. We will become the same people who trample on others, and when things become clearer, questions like; "How did I get here?" becomes the new trend in our heart and mind... or not.

We get to start living a life we are not proud of, and every seed we bring forth into the world will grow up to know who daddy or mummy is. The children may likely follow the same path or rebel against you. Yeah, I know no one will die with you, so we have the right to live life the way we want.

Came across this song, and it fits in

However, as you are living life, remember the aftermath of your actions. I am not talking about heaven or hell, but about your legacy. Truly, being dead means you have nothing to do with the living anymore, but whatever you did while alive would surely speak for those you left behind. This is not even me talking about Karma. No! This is me stating what's obvious in our world today.

My worry about Nigeria protest is always about the aftermath. The sponsors will just release money and be in their hiding place watching the citizens tearing themselves apart. It's unfortunate that most citizens always dance to their tune regardless of what the country is going through.
Protest is only a way to express our dissatisfaction over the governance and it's unfortunate that none of our protests has yielded something positive

Very unfortunate and it makes you continue questioning yourself if protest is really the right way. But the truth is that, when we still not protest, it doesn't feel right. We need to speak up but then, the aftermath of our protest is a always hard pill to swallow.

while the payer(people in power) sit at home and enjoy a nice cold drink with fresh air watching as citizens tear themselves apart.

Sadly this seems always the case. The rich don't ever seem to get a consequence for their actions - or inaction.

Very sad on how people will just do to their bidding. It is just... phew

People everywhere are so confused with life at the moment many countries uprising. I always told my sons to simply hang onto the moral standing, always be able to sleep at night try to never do harm to others it is the least we can with the way things keep changing of late.

Hmm, I don't even know what to say. The protest is now a humiliation to Nigeria and it's constitution.

That's it ooo
