I have always been amazed with the human brain. How it could produce intelligence when rightly used is always superb. The more we train our brain, the more open it gets, and as long as we keep on doing what we do, learning will never cease, and it will always deliver.
When I was younger, I loved reading a lot. Not just story books, but I got fascinated with the dictionary. I would carefully read through, marking out some interesting words and how well they can be used in a sentence.
This act of mine, though drastically dropped as time passed by, had helped me academically. I have found myself penning down words in sentences that I barely remember how the word came to my head, and the interesting part of it is that... whenever I check the dictionary to know the meaning of the word and to be sure if I had used it right in a sentence, I always end up with a smile.
Whatever we feed ourselves helps us grow in the near future, which is why we ought to be careful what we spend time doing because our brain absorbs it and dishes it out to us when we least expect.
I am working on a short novel, and the way I approach it is different from how I have approached other uncompleted fictional works of mine. Strangely, this one seems to be going well, and tomorrow, I should wrap it up, proofread, and publish in the coming days.
The way the story flowed got me thinking, “How was I able to pull it off?" and I couldn't help going back to the preparation made in advance for it.
Last month had me creating the characters, writing the plot, and also settings. Doing these had made it possible for me to start the story with a clearer picture in mind, and I couldn't help comparing this with life in general.
When we prepare things in advance, even the littlest bit of things, it makes our life's journey a step closer. Though, I am not blind to the fact that things sometimes won't go our way no matter how prepared we are. But still, the sense of preparation gives us an edge as long as we remind ourselves of how dramatic life can be sometimes.
I wasn't sure I would be able to push today. I missed out on yesterday's publication because of my network, and today, I was charged with the same dilemma the moment I switched on my data. But, I got myself prepared despite all odds. I don't know how my network will react in the next few minutes, but I sure know that the moment I get connected, my post will be out.
Also, in great honor of #threetunestuesday by @ablaze, I'll be sharing three mind refreshing tunes.
The Elders; Mothers.
Breathe; Fleurie.
Transcendence; Lindsey Stirling.
All videos used were gotten from #YouTube.
Still yours truly,

Thanks for reading and listening.
