Life is a gift that gets difficult at different stages, some at birth, some at a young age, and some faced with a mid-life crisis.
Half of the world thought of a smooth bed of roses life, graduating at 16, earning at 17, getting married and settling at 20, and becoming a young millionaire climbing the ladder of life with swag. That would’ve been fantastic.
But contrary to one's thoughts, this journey called life has a way of dealing unapologetic. Giving you all the smiles to make today a memorable one, and tomorrow he decides the mood.
You see, someone once said the life we live is a setup that is all predetermined. Time to smile and the time to frown. Two people in the same room at the same hour can be in either of the phases.
Speaking of this, I remember when I visited a hospital maternity ward, I saw two women sharing the same ward with their beds side by side, they were at different phases of what life has to offer. Both were pregnant and delivered, the other child was healthy and okay, and a few family members jubilated and congratulated her, While the second lady gave birth and lost the baby, she wept and a few people around her were all gloomy consoling her.
That was painful to watch, I almost forgot my share of the challenge that took me there.
I asked myself that’s it? In the same room? I was so touched and couldn’t stop thinking about life.
At some point, it became the greatest lesson I ever learned and strengthened me in a way no world-class motivational speaker could ever do.
All I was thinking was how my challenges were nothing compared to what I witnessed, I clearly understood everyone has a struggle.
The whole scenario painted the actual meaning of seasons, everyone has theirs.
That well-looking man you see with shiny teeth was once down, asking “Can I get out of this?” And yes he went out triumphantly
And If you are going through those rough paths too now, it’s your turn to be built and come out stronger.
Life challenges will never cease coming, they will always be, and humans will always scale through them.
When one finds themselves in the valley, sitting back and remembering the days on the mountain, the battles that were conquered, and all the good times once spent. that should serve as a little reminder and motivation that life is in circles, the good days are coming again, and giving up is not an option.
I don’t know what inspired this post, however, I know I am addressing that one person who needs to hear that he or she is a fighter and not alone.
Whatever the case is, buckle up, give the best, and as time goes by it will be a thing to remember knowing IT WAS ALL IN THE PAST.
