True story of a Saint

in #hive-1092883 years ago

A man had two brothers and a cousin. Since the cousin had no parents that is why she used to be taken care of by her parent-in-law. One day, when both brothers got married and their sister too. that man refused to get married and decided to go out of the station to get higher education.

When he returned home after completing his education, he realised that his cousin had died before his coming and both brothers had been fighting together to capture their cousin's property. The elder brother was close to her cousin therefore he wanted to capture her whole property while the middle brother wanted to divide her property into three brothers. Since the man loved his brothers a lot he didn't want to see the brothers fighting. So he convinced his younger brother and assured to give him his property.

When his brother would get his property named then his brother stopped fighting together and started staying together again and became very happy.

After a few years, he didn't get any job being educated then he decided to get married and asked his brothers but they denied it and said to him, "we won't share the property".

The man went out of the station and started doing a small job. Many times he came to his brothers to make them convince but his brother never did agree to share property. Later, He didn't get married because of his old age. He was staying far from his brothers but when his brothers needed any help he used to help them. His whole life he spent his earnings on his brothers.

When he died, some unknown people brought his dead body because he took his last breath and said to perform his last rites in his village. Sadly, no one from his family took responsibility to perform his last rites. Due to his funeral expenses.

Later his last rites were performed by his villagers.

His body was wrapped with a shroud according to Hindu rituals.

After the combustion rites merged into the five elements soil, water, fire, air, and void.

In the end, all his clothes were removed which are laying around their fire

May God rest his soul🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️

Today we are so lost in the lack of getting money that we keep our loved ones away from us. We should have human ambitions more than money, money is a hand match. give up money never give up family.

It's not a fantasy it's a real incident.

This incident had a big impact on me. How people can be so selfish and cruel. At the same time, it made me realise that people can be really nice to each other. He loved his brothers and their family unconditionally and is truly a great hero to me.

Thanks for reading...

@dharmendra02,

Good afternoon... and thank you for posting in my community. This was a most touching and emotional message. Oftentimes, it is indeed hard, to find a balance between working, and living. Back in the days before being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, I worked 12 hours a day... Monday through Saturday. Fighting to keep with the "don't spend, what you make" mindset. But dealing with any disease also brings forth many financial burdens. But I agree with your words... from your post:

Today we are so lost in the lack of getting money that we keep our loved ones away from us. We should have human ambitions more than money, money is a hand match. give up money never give up family.

I appreciate you taking the time... not only to post in my community but to also share with us what really matters... family

@wesphilbin first of all I would like to thank you for the support that you mentioned and I appreciate you too for your hard work. Today we forget our loved ones in the greed of achieving our goals.

@dharmendra02

You are most welcome. I believe the thing we are all trying to find is called a "happy medium"... yes?
