Students, the game changer

Students of today are the future of a nation, and it’s a reality as they will carry the most important position of the country. The priority of a student is doing study well, although every student is not the same because the talent, effort, and dedication are not the same. Some students were interested in studying, and some are not so interested in studying, but almost everyone needs to make efforts for it.

Each elder always tells students to study well and says the story that in their time there were not good facilities for what they didn’t study well; otherwise, they had the desire to study more bla bla bla. Nobody wants to miss a chance to give lectures to the students. They never miss a chance to criticize students by comparing one student with another. Most elderly people think that students have nothing to do all day. They waste their time. Elders think that they (elders) are only working hard and taking all the pressure, which is totally wrong.

Students are the ones who need to stay stick with the table for many hours, and it’s not less than the table job the elderly do. In fact, it’s more than the table job. In a table job, people mostly do the thing in which they are experts and do work based on their skills, where students sit at a table to learn or prepare lessons. When one is working in an office, they are using/applying their knowledge, where students acquire knowledge, and, in that case, acquiring knowledge is hard compared to applying the knowledge.

Elders left all their work pressure in the office or workplace, but for students there is no chance of it. Boss only puts pressure in the workplace, but when it’s about a student, parents, elders, and neighbors all create pressure on a student, which can be directly and indirectly. In cases of pressure, students take a lot of pressure, and students have a lot of things to fear, especially the result. I have heard that several times students commit suicide when they can’t achieve the desired result. Why do they do suicide? It’s because of the pressure of everything. Besides, compared to the age of students, they are forced to take on too much pressure, which is several times more powerful than the pressure received by the elders in the workplace.

Students are the youth who are ready to take a risk and don’t hesitate to sacrifice their life when they see injustice, where most elders try to escape from the situation thinking about the bad consequences. Elderly people (not everyone) are more mature and think too much about the consequences, but students are the ones who raise their voice when it’s necessary. You can call them impulsive, but they do the thing that is right in their eyes. Whenever it’s about the fight for rights, fighting for discrimination, and protesting for anything, the students are the ones who play the main role. At least in my country it happened many times, and the history is the proof of it.

It says that students are the most powerful ones, the game changers. Most of the changes start with the influence of students. They have the power to fix the society as well as the nation. You can’t dominate them; it doesn’t matter how powerful you are because they are so powerful that it’s hard to imagine. Believe it or not, the student power is the greatest power. It’s known to all that greatest power comes with greatest responsibility, and in the case of students, it’s also applicable. There are some people who try to mislead the students and try to take advantage of the student’s power, and staying alert from them is also necessary; otherwise the consequences can be destructive.

So don’t take students lightly. You have a mouth doesn’t mean you can say anything about them. They don’t spend their time just sitting at a table; it’s just you who are wasting your time to make their life more difficult. They respect you because you’re the elder one; otherwise, you have no chance to stay in front of them. You can advise them, motivate them, and correct them if they are making any mistakes, but you have no right to be an obstacle of them. You should not compare them with others. Do you actually have the right to compare them? Just think about yourself, you are also a failure in your life compared to many others. Still, if you try to compare them, then you are the shameless one. If you can’t make the path of students clear, then at least you should not be the obstacle in their way. Remember that they are the warriors, and they will figure out their own way. Try to guide them, but don’t try to dominate them because it’s just a matter of time they will come out from the shackles of the dominance, and in that time, you may see their violent face and you may not be able to tolerate everything. So be careful whenever you say something about students. The students can be your children, relatives, neighbors, whoever.
