I may as well be sounding like a broken record after saying so much about "Building Genuine Connections" across several platforms in recent days. To be fair, this is the message I've been preaching since the moment I started being serious about my online profile.
Check my X profile for an example. I made an atomic post about building genuine connections, and I'm one to back such statements up with action. I understand how the algorithm works, but I also know that a lot of people try to have thousands of followers just for the sentimental attachment of having huge followers.
As far as I'm concerned, 5k followers don't necessarily translate to 5k genuine connections.
There are so many groups on X spaces and several X spaces that are basically meant for farming followers. Anyone who's crazy about getting followers can basically sulk up to such gatherings and farm as many followers as possible.
You know that, right?
We are all in this Web3 ecosystem and we can do so much more by being connected to the right people. That's why you need to be genuine about what you do in the Web3 space. If you genuinely give your best, it will be so much easier to build connections without having to sacrifice your self-respect.
You also wouldn't have to resort to worshipping people to get their attention. Just focus on interacting with people or contents that are valuable to you. While you do that, those who find you valuable will also try to connect with you.
That's how to build the foundation for genuine connections.
This applies to all other areas of life... Not just in Web3.
While thinking about this, remember to tune in for the next edition of my "Shill Your Web3 Grind" X space series, which is held every Tuesday and Friday at 2:30pm UTC+1.
Recordings from this Tuesday's edition can be found in my X link profile.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
