This topic got me, because I believe so much in friendship,I treasure friendship
especially with the right people
The advantages of friendship is endless when you are with the right person
you may feel fullfil both physically, mentally and emotionally .
But when friendship gets sours it's more disappointing and draining.
Question
Have you had to walk away from friendship to preserve your inner peace? Describe the factors and reflection that impacted this decision.
What's friendship when there's no peace?
what's friendship when you have to lose yourself in order to keep the friendship?
what's friendship when the relationship is toxic
what's friendship when all we do is argue?
There was a time in my life I had to walk away just to preserve my inner peace.
yes I missed the friendship but walking away has kept me sane.
Reasons that impacted my decision to walk away.
She wasn't so good with apologies:
My friend had serious issues with apologising,it wasn't in her nature to apologize when she is at fault, instead of apologizing she would rather choose to be nice to you by doing something good for you or giving you thousands of reasons why she acted the easy she did.
she believed she can never be wrong: she felt she was perfect and acted as if she was above mistake and shouldn't be corrected or advice,argument usually take the lead most of the time and the friendship became problematic.
she believed she was always right:
Trying to adjust and to view things from another person's perceptive was a big NO for her
To maintain Friendship I had to intentionally let her feel she was right
and it makes the relationship worst.
Trust issues:
Her trust issues took a different shape from the usual,she never believed anyone could me good
if a person is nice to her she feels that the person want something else in return or probably wants to take advantage of her
Jealousy: This was the highest reason why I had to walk away from the friendship,she felt very comfortable when i rely on her for help but usually felt cold towards my success
