Well, I want to believe if you aren't pushed or determined to start a goal, you can't do anything at all, but it's always interesting when you are in group working on the goals.
At the beginning of this year, I was inspired and determined to write my resolutions for the year 2022 and I made up my mind to keep it going. Among them is working on my exercise because sincerely, I need to have a flat tummy because I really admire people with flat tummy. I made up my mind to practice many exercises to achieve my goal but gradually, I was losing interest.
When I finished my exams, I did started and on the day 3 of my exercise, I saw @dreemsteem post about this challenge to work as a group to achieve our goals and also to work on our personal development. I was so happy because I won't be doing this alone, but with other people who are committed. At least, this would make me more focused and determined as I wouldn't feel like I am left behind.
Seeing the challenge for each week, I am already working on most of them and it made it easier. So, for this week, I aced the challenge as I put my mind into it.
Let me start with the first challenge exercise.
My prayer life has always been active because I love praying every morning because I believe, committing your ways into God's hand is the best for a productive life. So also, when I wake up at 6am, the first thing is to breathe for 5 mins and then pray afterwards with a Bible app as a guide for my activity.
For this, I am not always active in drinking water early in the morning but since the Dreemport challenge, I make sure to drink water immediately I wake up in the morning, which is before my activities. I even had to browse what 32 OZ water is and I was made to know it is equal to 4 cups of water daily.
For someone like me, I like drinking enough water everyday and so, I make sure to drink water more than 4 cups daily starting from morning.
For this one, I had to download a video on YouTube as a guide especially for my flat tummy and the exercises involved are;
- Leg drops
- Reverse Crunches
- Knee Tuck Crunch
- Russian Twist
- Reach Through
- Heel touch
- Single Leg Jacknife
- Plank
I am working on two goals with this one actually. First is listening to my favorite podcast by Joel and Victoria Osteen. I downloaded Spotify app where I listen to their 28mins audio podcast.
I won't lie with this, I just started listening to the podcast after some months pausing it because I couldn't continue with it, especially having to wake up early for lecture and by the time I return back home, I am already tired to listen to anything.
The second goal is reading a chapter of a book daily and I would say I am loving this one. I finished a particular book I was reading this week and already on another second book. In all from January to March, I have read three books in total.
All thanks to @dreemport for bringing this 6 weeks challenge because I believe, there would be a huge improvement before the end of it, as we are doing this as a team and not only one person.
I aced it this week and I am glad of the progress in it already. I will continue the challenge and then we all continue next week.
