I was going through some motivational quotes earlier to keep me moving. I do this very often as I can relate to and perceive quotes better. I did not find anything inspirational. I tried the encouragement quotes, but that was not working either. I tried for motivation, but nothing worked. Then suddenly I thought of Shakespeare and I wrote quotes from Shakespeare. I found what I was looking for.
As I said earlier, I often look for quotes, yes I do that when my mind is jotted with thoughts. When I cannot make my mind free from many irregular asymmetric thoughts I read quotes. They make my hazy mind active and I can pinpoint, a bit of, what is bothering me.
There are many people out in this world who think they are wise. As I am writing, I believe many here also think that they are wise. They think they are eligible to advise others when they have their own problems to deal with. Me, when I am writing this post or any other might have thoughts like, by writing this post I am saving a life. That is not the case. We are mere beings, trying to find a place for ourselves or we are just mostly playing along.
I do not call myself wise. I do not give advice thinking myself-wise, either. I am very well aware of where I stand in my eyes. I am not wise. I have made plenty of mistakes and I am still spreading what I think is right but I still believe that I am not wise.
There is a widely known quote from Shakespeare that has many interpretations and many modified it too. The one I am talking about is, "A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool." This is insanely popular among elders in my family, I am talking about my parents. They sole heartedly believe this line from word to word. I do understand why.
They try to make us realize that we are not wise enough to be throwing out points at others. We are not wise enough to be blamed. We are not wise enough to be absolutely rough and arrogant. If we are not wise enough, then why do we show power? Then why are we blatantly doing what we are instead of humbly accepting diversity? The interesting point is, that we lack patience and that is the key to a wise man.
When I say man, I am not only talking about men alone. I am also talking about women. We sprout out words thinking we are right but at the very end, we lie to ourselves. We lie while being triggered and we are full of arrogance. We forget that we are just beings with thoughts and decisions, who struggle to find the best for themselves and for the people around them. However, no matter how much right advice we have given, we are not wise when we think we are.
A wise man may know that he is wise not because he says so but because people say so. People from the past were more patient. They were more observant. I am talking about a wise man. A wise man will never lose his mind, that is because he can understand what the man is going through. I wise man is not an all-knower but an all-observer. That is what I think. It is just my view.
People of Hive, know that the posts that you see in your daily lives are just fragments of the whole picture. It is not the reality but the reality which is presented, an act from a person. We all are playing on the stage, says Shakespeare. This stage makes us go and go through a lot but we still love the stage and try to be in focus. However, we should not forget that this stage will last for a short while. Nothing lasts forever and nothing is too short.
When you perform in this stage, know that you are not the best but you still have a lot to learn. There is no end to learning. Take one step at a time. There is no hurry. The train will not leave you until you believe that the running train is your last. It is very important to know oneself.
