My Feelings on speaking the truth

Good day readers,
I was ruminating overnight on things life has taught me and I realized that we are all a product of experiences. I have friends but I set a limit to the extent of my friendship with them. I love truth with the whole of my heart and I tell my friends to always tell Me nothing but the truth and which many of them does. In return I tell them the truth without hiding anything and this attitude became a part of me. I never thought of how hurtful the truth can be to others maybe because I don't feel hurt when people tell me the truth.
I say the truth without minding the personality, environment and consequences attached. By the time I got to know that the above three points should be put Into consideration, I have offended many.
Let me share more on the above points.

Personality: the personality of the person you want to tell the truth matters. Some people have free mind, they don't read meanings to mere words, such are person can take the truth without getting angry but to some they get angry easily, this set of people requires wisdom to deal with. Most times I say a word of prayer in my mind before responding to them. Telling the truth to elders must be in riddles if you don't want them to see you as being rude same goes to ones superior at work. Many knows the truth but are looking for someone to tell them and yet punish them for it.
Environment: some environment are safe when it comes to speaking the truth while some are not. In a safe environment, I say my mind without holding back but when I sense danger I will rather keep quiet. But if it will affect others I say the truth not minding the environment.
Consequences: thinking about the repercussions of our words should also determine if the truth should be told. In a situation where there is no consequence attached, I say the truth but when I see that there are consequences, I will consider the consequences, if the consequences will affect only me, I will weigh the positive impact over the negative impact on my personality before speaking but if it has to do with protecting others I speak the truth without minding the consequences.
This is actually base on my experience though. It has worked for me many time and I have seen over time that saying the truth is worthy but wisdom needs to be apply.
I wish you a blessed weekend.
