By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.
No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️
The Last Year... by @snook
It's July. Last year in July, my world changed forever. What I thought would be a lot of work for a month turned into a year of Hell on Earth. I am getting less and less healthy. My body is breaking down faster and faster
The Healing process… by @ibbtammy
Being sensitive can be a good thing and also a bad thing. You can be overly sensitive to other people's feelings and nobody gives a hoot about your feelings. You can read people’s emotions and facial expressions heck! You can even read the room and know how to thread cautiously but when the tables are turned people say things without putting your feelings into consideration and that hurts, it hurts like crazy. Over the years I came to realize that I always find it difficult to let go of certain pains and these pains are usually caused by the ones I love dearly, I could care less about what an acquaintance or a random person says or does to me but you see the ones I hold dear?

𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆 by @amiegeoffrey
As humans, we are sometimes perplexed when it feels like we are faced with a very difficult situation, many though lose hope and give up along the line, but are there ways we can strengthen hope? Hope is an act of mindfulness, it requires a constant effort to strengthen it and gratitude is the first step to maintaining hope. This is because gratitude makes it easy for you to appreciate what you've gotten while looking ahead to much more better days. I have a friend who almost gave up on life, he hated the fact that things weren't going on well with him, everyday he complained bitterly about his current situation and that left him sad all the time. One day, I thought of ways to help him revive his hope, so I asked, "have you ever thought about the things that are working well for you and the things you've got that you cherish"?
Tale of an Introvert by @minhajulmredol
Few weeks ago perhaps I had talked about an extremely introverted person, how tough it was to communicate with her is beyond description. We were in touch for almost two months and then finished with each other. Our task was completed and done successfully. In the meantime, our conversations were very very limited, won't be more than a 5 minutes read if written in words. Yeah, all we did was pass instructions verbally and, and I wrote down most of them and she did her part
The Final Letting Go by @riverflows
There's a strong feeling sometimes that life is about accumulation up to a point, and then there must be a letting go. The tide flows in, and flows out. The sun rises, the sun sets. We breath in , we breath out until we don't. Yesterday I was talking to Dad about things
So I Picked The Gazelle, But The Bee Chose Me by @trucklife-family
I got given, Pocket Animal Spirit Cards, for my birthday this year, from a very close friend of mine. I have one other set of cards, my Sheela Na Gig cards, that I got Bout 14 years ago, after meeting the lady that created them. An amazing Irish woman, who spend years visiting and studying the Sheela Na Gig's in Ireland. I also read one of her books, the Sacred Whole which is about her study, her passion. I have always felt very connected to those cards
Sometimes, troubles weigh us down that we want to give up by @jloberiza
July 26, 2024 Hello friends. I have been inactive again for a few weeks. I got too busy at work. Also, I've been looking for additional ways to earn. Sadly, my earnings from the articles I posted online are far from enough to cover my expenses
Life without internet by @intishar
We are living in a digital world, and right now it’s hard to think about life without the internet, as most of our tasks are dependent on internet connectivity. Our daily lives and the national economy can be hampered if there is no internet connection for several days. Many of us say that human interaction will be increased if there is no internet connection. Some people accept it whereas others deny it. Today I am sharing the experience of staying without internet for 6 days
Thirtyfor30: Small progress is still progress by @patsitivity
Others might say the only way to live life is to "Go big or go home"! . For most of my life, I believed it and it worked. The "Go big or go home"! mentality tells us " to either do something to its fullest extent or largest degree or else don't even bother"]
