By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.
No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️
A lovely night at a fundraising event by @jayna
I’ve had a busy few days. It started with an evening fundraiser event for the organization which creates wonderful camping experiences for kids. The event took place at the local camp, which was traditionally called Camp Tanadoona. My kids all attended the camp when they were young, and my son was a camp counselor there for a few summers. The evening actually started just a bit early because I was mistaken about the start time
Nature, Times And Seasons! by @luchyl
"Time will pass and seasons will come and go". Roy Bean Nature revolves around time and seasons, and everything that happens in nature does so for a reason. In fact, times and seasons work hand in foot to ensure that everything flows according to nature's order and rhythm, to which we, humans are a part whether we're aware of it or not. No one can comprehend how nature works, nor the mysteries that abound in it. The little knowledge we have about nature, may have come from our experiences and interactions with the natural world around us
Inside a man... who rescues him? by @olujay
In a conversation with some people about not so trivial matters, someone asked me, "Why don't you just ask your parents for the money"? I was taken aback and took a while to respond. I was firstly surprised that a guy way older than me would run to Daddy for small things like battery replacement, but that wasn't my business, and so I replied, "Man, you're aware that not all fingers are equal, right"? Knowing when to ask for help is important, that I admit. It's the idea of seeking how to be rescued by someone else that I don't quite feel comfortable with
Mi Diario: 6 octubre 2024 // My Diary: October 6 2024 by @palomap3
Hola, querido hiver. La semana pasada te contaba que estaban próximas las fiestas patronales de mi ciudad, que empezaron ayer. Me siento extraña. Por un lado tengo cero ganas de acercarme a nada que huela a multitudes. Pero por otro me presumo como un bicho raro y me incomoda

Thoughtfulness is a very intentional practice, it takes self awareness to be a very thoughtful person. Being a sensitive person, one thing that has helped me stay thoughtful in words and deeds is the golden rule which says "do unto others what you want them to do to you", if I don't want to be treated in an ill mannered way, I surely wouldn't treat someone that way. Another way I've strived to spread thoughtfulness in my life is treating myself exactly the way I want others to treat me, I show myself a little kindness, I adore myself, I love myself and I speak positivity into my life, visions and goals in life, I celebrate my little wins, share my what I'm grateful for on a daily basis ,because this is a reflection of how I want people to treat me too, so I set the pace and they follow. This has led to a lot of positive outcome, as I have heard people admiring my ability to create happiness for myself, and my self sufficiency. Talking about spreading thoughtfulness while interacting with others, I am one who love to listen attentively to anyone expressing themselves, even if I have a different opinion, I do not interrupt them, this make them feel respected and heard and then I respectfully air my own view to them
UNLOCKING OPPORTUNITIES by @hopestylist
Someone recently said something that resonates well with me, he said that, one major life hack is for you to be useful, then progressing in life will get a little more easier and will happen effortlessly. A lot of times we say there are no opportunities anywhere but we fail to realize that opportunities don’t just happen, they are created and one of the easiest ways to create opportunities is by being useful as much as possible. As humans, no matter how many we think we are and we think that might be the reason for lack of job opportunities around the world, trust me, it might be far from that because despite the so many people shouting lack of jobs, people still get jobs and they keep moving forward in life. And one thing that is common with these set of people is the fact that they have proven useful to themselves and to others and that is what most people want to see. Whether we like it or not, a lot of people we have as friends today are there because they have found us useful to them in one way or another and vice versa
You don't know. by @balikis95
You don't know because you never asked or made an attempt or deep research on it, and that's how ignorance sets in. Most people find it more comfortable relying on what was said or heard and using that to judge the next cause of their lives instead of doing more research if they truly want to follow that path. No one knows it all, and by asking questions, there's so much that can be known. Sometimes, we let our status blind us to what we could have questioned because we don't know. Instead, we set our lips tight and acted more foolishly when we could have asked questions despite the eyes that may be watching us or how ridiculous our questions may sound

October Reflections —My Journey Of Personal Growth And Development by @phyna
I have observed a lot within my circle in recent months. I've witnessed both desperation and the determination to rise and grow. I've seen everyone striving to enhance themselves, focussing on self improvement, self discovery, exploring financial prospects, and more. It seems the primary driver is our realisation that we've transitioned from teenagers to adults, undergoing rapid changes as time slips away. I've noticed individuals in my circle pursuing opportunities in the wrong manner, and I've also fallen into that trap a few times
A Tree In The Cold! by @tranquil3
I often feel that thoughtfulness is fast fading, like that tree standing alone in the chilling cold, its once vibrant leaves gradually withering away. It was once a sturdy evergreen tree called thoughtfulness, it was once beautifully rooted in the warmth of human connection, but times have changed, technology has almost taken the place of real humans, the hustle and bustle of our daily routines has led us to live lives of hurried routines and thoughtless habits. When I was younger, we were taught empathy, we were taught to feel the pain of others as if it was our own pain, and to help in any way we could to bring succour. We were taught to develop conditions favourable to each other's thriving. We were taught to practice humanity big time!
