By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.
No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️
Sacred Land, Visiting Brigid's Well by @trucklife-family
I've really been enjoying my time in Ireland. Connecting with my family, reconnecting with the land. Autumn has always been one of my favourite seasons. It's funny that I have ended up living in a place, where that season doesn't really exist. It always seems to just go from summer to Winter
When education become burden by @intishar
We have one life, and the time of youth is limited. It says that youth time is the best time to start everything, as it's such a time we have the spirit to do something remarkable. Finding the right direction at that time can make life easier and better. The true purpose of education is to find the direction and lead the way. But the education system and the situation of the country also matter a lot
𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑨𝒓𝒆 𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝑨𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆 by @amiegeoffrey
Everyone is fighting something we know nothing about, even when they fake the smile to avoid unnecessary questions. Life is already hard and so we need to be very kind to anyone we come across. A significant portion of the world’s population is suffering with depression. What things do you feel are the most helpful to those people in fighting the blues? One thing I've found out is that words have so much power, which is why we all should learn to bridle our tongue
Be a good person and pursue the occupation you love by @alex-rourke
One of my favorite things to do, especially on cloudy Sundays like today, is take care of my succulent garden. One of my favorite things to read is Meditations, by Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius. One of my favorite things to listen to on (my favorite and free podcasting app) and YouTube is The Daily Stoic with Ryan Holiday. What Ryan does, is he takes passages from stoic writers and shows us, in short audio or video format, how they apply to our livestoday! thousands of years after they were written!
Are All Minimalists Eco-conscious Individuals? by @wongi
I have come across a number of environmental enthusiasts; both the genuine and insincere ones, and one thing they always hit on is the fact that we owe it to ourselves to protect our environment in any and every way that we can. This could include seemingly tough actions like planting trees or the very basic actions like tossing our trash into waste bins and not gutters. On the flip side, some people couldn't care less about the environment as they aren't exactly eco conscious. I was trained to be very eco conscious but my parents and tutors used the tag “etiquettes” or manners if Imay rather than eco consciousness. Hence, I wouldn't say the environment was a major determinant in my decision to adopt the lifestyle of a minimalist; rather, the lifestyle has helped me improve on the way I view my environment
[ESP-ENG] Thoughtful Daily #19 | Depression is a very serious disease that is increasingly present in mankind. by @naath
Hello friends of the Thoughtful Daily Post community, I hope you are well today. Today I wanted to join the proposal of the community where we are invited to reflect on a very important topic that is often taken lightly or even for many people is very difficult to talk about and is the subject of: Depression
How wide is your field of vision? by @olujay
There are certain issues and problems in our lives that may not have immediate effect in the present, so we choose to cross that bridge when we come to it. Rather convenient indeed, yet we sometimes eventually wish we had "thought of this earlier" upon arrival. This bridge crossing perspective affects the outcome as it influences our thinking. The world is built by people who "crossed bridges" in their minds long before anyone else did. Words by John C. Maxwell that explain great minds and what makes them different
The Art Of Letting Go by @stellageorge
“Learn to let go.. ” I have been told that I hold onto things too tightly and I hold on longer than I should. I have been told that I feel things too deeply which is why it is difficult sometimes to let go. But I have always had one question burning in my mind.. “When is the right time to let go"?
Know what it's like. by @balikis95
Learning takes a huge toll on us, especially if we had to learn from a grave mistake. An experience gathered through intense suffering and pain. And to be fair, no one knows what it is like. When you get sucked into that moment in life when everything just hurts and you are barely living. That moment, you had to watch your dreams crumble before your eyes, and you just stood there, speechless and unmoving, because nothing came to your mind at that moment
