Hello my dear community, I hope everything is going very well in your lives😊💐. I love this community, because I frequent the tips and all the rabbits they give us to keep a nice and healthy peil. We live in areas that global warming is doing its thing, so we must take care of ourselves. In this order of ideas, our mouth is part of this skin care, face, body that we try to profess and cultivate around here, so I want to share with you my oral cleaning routine.Although we are taught from an early age: brush the teeth from the top down... and we learn it by heart, I think that as time goes by we forget this care, causing major problems in our teeth health.
I was an orthodontic patient and the care I took during the use of my braces was even congratulated by my dentist, because I didn't have the dirt due to bad hygiene, 20 points for me! However, there was a time of crisis of dental treatments in my country which made us use very poor quality toothpastes, but when I tell you that the quality levels were failing, with the consequence that no matter how much I used and "raked" my teeth and tongue, I had bad breath, a disgusting thing! because the worst thing about it is that often one does not feel it but the person around us, then I who am a teacher you can imagine.
The search was very difficult because no matter what brand I bought or sent for from outside, I always felt that I had a dragon in my mouth🤢.
1.- The first step is daily care. My dentist taught me that I should brush: in the morning when I wake up, after meals, and at night when I sleep. Skipping or skipping any of them for long periods of time can create tartar and plaque that cause bad breath. Also, change your toothbrush every 3 months even if it looks in good condition and buy good toothbrushes.
2.- Avoid spicy foods, dairy products, sweets, hard foods (like ice), foods with colorants, because all of them tend to weaken the tooth enamel. Dairy products are fatal because they stick to the tongue and cause halitosis (as bad breath is scientifically known🤣).
3.- A periodic check-up to eliminate cavities, plaque, tartar, or replacement of pieces already worn by the years.

Talking about point number 1, I take care of myself in the following way:
lately I was buying Colgate toothpaste "from Colombia" but that seemed to be from the border; as a positive point is that it kept a little mint flavor, the negative is that it did not bring anything, in a week it was already worn out and sometimes I did not get it then I lived in that uncertainty.
Now I bought this GLISTER which is from the American brand AMWAY and it is very well known in my country; everyone tells me that it is very good and long lasting since with "one drop" it cleans the mouth. The only thing is that it doesn't have a pronounced minty taste but I do feel it cleaner (unless others say otherwise🤣) and protected. I also clean my tongue, gum and walls because it's all part of the mouth 😁.

To complement, I use this mouthwash without alcohol (which makes that unpleasant itch in the mouth) twice a day: in the morning and at night; this recommendation was given to me by my dentist and I feel that in the morning I don't wake up so🤢.

Finally, I use dental floss, because sometimes the toothbrush does not reach certain places and then it is necessary to use it for a clean mouth.

In the case of point number two, I avoid dairy foods and if I eat them, I immediately brush them off so as not to leave traces. For sweet and spicy foods, I have no problems but I still have them balanced and limited so as not to lose my hygiene.
And in point 3, if I consider that I had years of neglect but I am already treating it. It turns out that my molars had amalgams, which are sealants from years ago that are no longer recommended because they are harmful. Now they use resins that are more expensive but durable, do not generate contraindications and are aesthetically more beautiful. I am doing the treatment one by one because I have had other priorities, but I hope at the end of the year to have all my teeth well treated💯.
Hasta la próxima

Currently I can tell you that I feel improvement with oral health care, so I recommend that just as you take care of the external parts, we must take care of the internal parts to have a comprehensive and harmonious health with our body.
And you, how do you take care of your oral health? Do you have any other tips to avoid baptizing others with our breath 🤣🤢?
