I was tagged by @jane1289 and I love this theme's idea and I checked my phone's gallery if I could have some thing to share here because I don't keep much photos on my phone like that.

Yes, I love to treat myself now, though I was an introvert who doesn't go out at all but when I was so young, mom was very good in preparing a nice dish and treat for us. One of my favorites has always been rice with fried plantain.

This was prepared two weeks ago when I came to my hometown. I had to look everywhere in my hometown to find this plantain because I can't eat my food without adding plantain on it.

There is this sweetness in the food when you add this. I call it my desserts 😅😅

Plantain is a rich protein which has an advantage to the body and I have always had fresh skin eating this.

Have you tried frying plantain with Red oil??? 😁😁 My friend taught me and I tried it out, it's so delicious compared to using olive oil to fry it.

Let me invite @merit.ahama to share her own best treat or delicacy too 😊😊

Frying plantain with oil? I've tried that countless times and it's super delicious 😉

Thanks for the invite, I have just the right entry for this 😊

Hehehe, you got the vibe😂😂 Besides too much groundnut oil affects the body and can damage the body system too.

Exactly my sister! 😂

If you add a pinch of salt to these fried plantains, they taste like heaven.

Exactly! Though, I don´t add salt when it´s ripe because it is already sweet. Thank you for the curation too.

Looks yummy ma. I love plantain too.
Try to cook banana que Filipino version. Check it out on Youtube. It's yummy, as in .one of my favorite Filipino snack..

In Venezuela it is common to see fried plantains as a snack or salty treat. They sell them packaged in an artisanal and also industrial way, and they are always delicious, crunchy and very good to satisfy a craving at any time of the day.
It's cool that you prepare them yourself at home, so if you feel like eating them you don't have to go buy them. Good entry.
