Los 3 pilares fundamentales para una vida saludable son el descanso, una buena alimentaciĆ³n y actividad fĆsica. Cuando falta uno o mĆ”s, empezamos a tener problemas y complicaciones.
The 3 fundamental pillars for a healthy life are rest, good nutrition and physical activity. When one or more are missing, we begin to have problems and complications.
Siempre tuve problemas para conciliar el sueƱo. Puedo estar varios minutos u horas en la cama antes de dormir y mi sueƱo es muy liviano y delicado. Soy muy propenso a despertarse al minino ruido. Lamentablemente, esta situaciĆ³n se agravĆ³ bastante. Cada 2 o 3 horas me despierto, me cuesta mantener un sueƱo prolongado. Estoy durmiendo poco, difĆcilmente pueda llegar a dormir 8 horas. Por lo general, estoy durmiendo 5 o 6 horas mĆ”ximo.
I have always had trouble falling asleep. I can be several minutes or hours in bed before falling asleep and my sleep is very light and delicate. I am very prone to wake up at the slightest noise. Unfortunately, this situation got quite aggravated. Every 2 or 3 hours I wake up, I find it difficult to maintain a prolonged sleep. I am sleeping very little, I can hardly get 8 hours of sleep. I usually sleep 5 or 6 hours maximum.
Obviamente, esta situaciĆ³n repercute directamente en mi dĆa a dĆa. Me despierto cansado y sin energĆas. Es horrible afrontar las tareas y obligaciones despuĆ©s de haber dormido 4 o 5 horas, todo te cuesta el triple. Lo peor son los efectos a largo plazo, como el mal humor constante y la pĆ©rdida de habilidades cognitivas. Parece exageraciĆ³n, pero el insomnio a largo plazo te vuelve lento, torpe y deficiente.
Obviously, this situation has a direct impact on my daily life. I wake up tired and without energy. It is horrible to face tasks and obligations after having slept 4 or 5 hours, everything costs you three times as much. The worst are the long-term effects, such as constant moodiness and loss of cognitive skills. It sounds like an exaggeration, but long-term insomnia makes you slow, clumsy and deficient.
No estoy seguro de la causa de este problema, pero lo mĆ”s probable es que sea por estrĆ©s y ansiedad. Los Ćŗltimos meses me estuve presionando mucho, me puse metas muy complicadas de alcanzar y eso me mantiene en un estado de nerviosismo constante. Aparte me estuve castigando mucho por errores del pasado. A veces soy muy crĆtico conmigo mismo y termino castigĆ”ndome de mĆ”s. Creo que lo mĆ”s sano y sensato serĆa visitar a un psicĆ³logo o terapeuta. Obviamente, mi insomnio tiene un origen mental y necesito solucionarlo cuanto antes para dejar de parecer un zombi.
I am not sure of the cause of this problem, but most likely it is stress and anxiety. The last few months I have been putting a lot of pressure on myself, I set very complicated goals to achieve and that keeps me in a constant state of nervousness. Besides, I've been punishing myself a lot for past mistakes. Sometimes I am very critical with myself and I end up punishing myself too much. I think the healthiest and most sensible thing to do would be to visit a psychologist or therapist. Obviously, my insomnia has a mental origin and I need to solve it as soon as possible to stop looking like a zombie.
Estuve pensando que mientras tanto podrĆa conseguir pastillas para dormir, pero no serĆa lo correcto automĆ”ticamente. Lo que sĆ serĆa viable es comprar melatonina, que es natural y no necesita indicaciĆ³n de un mĆ©dico. Aparte pensĆ© en comprar herramientas como antifaz y tapones para los oĆdos. Creo que despuĆ©s obtener todos estos materiales, podrĆa mejorar mi calidad de sueƱo. Con poder dormir 7 u 8 horas de calidad y sin interrupciones, serĆa feliz.
I was thinking that in the meantime I could get sleeping pills, but it wouldn't automatically be the right thing to do. What would be feasible is to buy melatonin, which is natural and does not need a doctor's prescription. Apart from that I thought about buying tools such as an eye mask and ear plugs. I believe that after obtaining all these materials, I could improve my quality of sleep. With being able to sleep 7 or 8 hours of quality sleep without interruptions, I would be happy.
En fin gente, solo querĆa compartir mi problema con ustedes. Cuiden el ciclo del sueƱo, al largo plazo puede traer muchos problemas cognitivos. Aparte que estĆ” estrechamente relacionado un correcto sueƱo con una vida saludable. EstĆ” bien desvelarse de vez en cuando, algĆŗn dĆa de fiesta no hace daƱo, pero procuren descansar correctamente. En lo personal, voy a tratar de corregir este problema y tener una vida lo mĆ”s Ć³ptima posible.
Anyway people, I just wanted to share my problem with you. Take care of your sleep cycle, in the long run it can bring a lot of cognitive problems. Besides, proper sleep is closely related to a healthy life. It's okay to stay awake once in a while, a day off doesn't hurt, but try to get a good night's rest. Personally, I will try to correct this problem and have a life as optimal as possible.
