No es otro año escolar más qué pasó, es el año escolar posterior a la pandemia; y aunque esta continúa activa su gravedad ha mermado, gracias a Dios. Que reto tan grande fue para cada docente retornar de manera presencial y total a las aulas.
It is not just another school year that has passed, it is the school year after the pandemic; and although it is still active, its severity has diminished, thank God. What a great challenge it was for each teacher to return to the classroom.
Recibir con tantos temores y dudas a los niños pero a la vez con mucha alegría a cada uno de ellos. Fue necesario salir del molde y dejar de reconocer que lo académico es lo más primordial y valorar nuestras emociones es más factible para ser productivos. A nuestros estudiantes hacerles entender que los abrazos podían esperar un poco más, que a pesar de la distancia podemos demostrar nuestro cariño de diversas maneras: una mirada, una sonrisa un compartir discreto; hasta que no aguantaron más y fueron los niños y niñas quiénes decidieron suprimir estas normas iniciando con un sutil: -Maestra, podemos trabajar en el suelo? ahí sale mejor. ¿Podemos trabajar en equipo?
To receive the children with so many fears and doubts, but at the same time with so much joy for each one of them. It was necessary to break out of the mold and stop recognizing that academics is the most important thing and to value our emotions is more feasible to be productive. We made our students understand that hugs could wait a little longer, that despite the distance we can show our affection in different ways: a look, a smile, a discreet sharing; until they could not stand it any longer and it was the children who decided to suppress these rules starting with a subtle: -Teacher, can we work on the floor? it works better there. Can we work as a team?
Hasta ver nuevamente con normalidad saludarnos con enormes abrazos y largas despedidas porque no querían irse a casa. Todo esto fue necesario pasarlo, lo precisamos: valorar nuestro trabajo y dar gracias a Dios por lo que tenemos y por lo que somos. Hoy mi querido colega docente puedes decir lo lograste y lo hiciste muy bien, el próximo año escolar serás una mejor versión de tí. Tus esfuerzos nunca serán en vano. Until we could greet each other normally again with big hugs and long goodbyes because they didn't want to go home.
