My Naija people!! How una dey!

The fun fact about life is that we can't truly define who we are, we can’t see our future, and all we can do is hope for something better for ourselves. Life decides whichever way we flow, if you prove to be stubborn and want to go your way, then you might just drown or go astray.

It's just like someone destined to be poor, but won’t have a regretful life, such a person would surely work so hard to make a good life and they shall live it. But the very moment they begin to see themselves in positions that they are not meant to attain when they begin to picture beyond their fate, then the nonstop hustle continues.

This is where some people go against life, go against their destiny just to make sure they make a life that is not theirs. The repercussions are always so heavy that they bounce back on them.

Among the mysteries of life is that we dream a lot, we have visions and ambitions, but only those who aim and work for them get there. Why is it so easy to dream about becoming something in life and then in the long run everything changes? Only those who can survive become the fittest and then they get to be the ones living in those dreams.

We all can't be doctors, everyone can't be a lawyer, and everyone wishes to be a pilot, but how many airplanes are there? We all want to sit in higher positions but how many seats are available?

I remember some time ago when I was a child, I had the dream of becoming an aeronautical engineer, it was sweet to utter. “I want to become an aeronautical engineer” but the journey is where the problem lies. I had a switch to having a blank career path at some point in my life.

I watched a short clip where a guy was interviewed about his dream before he got admitted and what he was practicing recently. He said it is in Nigeria where you dream of becoming a doctor and in the end you end up becoming a farmer. It sounds funny, but it's just the bitter truth.

As a child I have always envisioned having a huge land mass for agriculture, building my house in one corner of the land, and then raising livestock and some plantations. Have a nice view of nature all day. That has only been my dream life and not my dream job.

But eventually, fate had it different for me, and turned my dream life into my dream job. I found my path in agriculture, I realized it could be practiced as a profession and make a living out of it. I thread that path with all my heart.

Having a dream job in this country is so scary when you get into a higher institution and you see a lot of people having the same mindset as you had, some even have their energy booming out that you will feel so oppressed of making a life out of the competition ahead of you.

Millions of your mates out there seeking that particular dream job you wanted, how will you get to make your way out?

I became a Farmer.

I have grown to like the profession I practice. My dream life is entangled with my dream job. Though the journey has not been any easy as I envisioned it, I am still grateful I got the path that I wanted.

Studying agriculture in my secondary school gave me a lot of interest in it and I realized I always get the highest score in the subject. I furthered into the university to study the same agriculture. And from there I started building a career path in it. I had visions and plans of becoming a world-renowned agriculturist who would come up with amazing and innovative stuff about Agriculture.

The journey of a thousand miles surely begins with a step and Rome wasn't built in a day. This has been my driving force towards achieving success in my career path and getting my dream job to come to reality. Hopefully, with time I will give great testimonies on my successful journey.
