In my previous post on my dreemspace, I talked about my dream empire and also my business space, where I have a conglomerate business in one company that includes fashion design, catering, hair styling, and event planning. All these are achievable, and I realized before I can achieve my first dreemspace, which is the empire, I need to bring my second dream to reality, and I can’t just fold my hands and watch it happen.
There are a lot of things to put in place, so according to this week's dreemport challenge, “What are the top three tools that I need in order to take the next step”
It's an interesting endeavor to create a conglomerate company that integrates different talents and services. For each skill area, I'll need a different combination of equipment and resources to put up such an extensive firm. To help you get started, here is a list: I will categorize these tools into three categories: operational tools, management/communication tools, and skill/training resources.
Operational Tool
These operational tools are the concrete components that enable the abilities and services offered in every office of the conglomerate company to be realized. They enhance not just the operation of every section but also the whole client experience while interacting with the many services provided. In order to achieve operational excellence and guarantee a productive and pleasant customer experience across the board for the conglomerate business, these instruments must be carefully chosen and managed.
This operation cuts across all the businesses. First, I will survey potential areas where I can reach my targeted audience. After this is done, I will identify large and small pieces of equipment that will be needed for all the businesses, get the ones I can afford at the moment, and set a target goal for the rest. To keep the business running, I will recruit individuals that are fit for the job.
Management Tool
Effective management and communication tools are essential for managing the wide range of skills available in each of the offices of the businesses. The efficient coordination, relationships with clients, and overall efficiency of businesses are enhanced by these tools. See the fundamental communication and management instruments required by the business:
- Communication Tools
- Client Consultation Area
- Point of Sale (POS) System
- Inventory Management System
- Business Website
- Marketing and Social Media Tools
- Marketing Materials
Skills/Training Tool
Under this category are resources and acquisitions that will contribute to skill development and continuous improvement for the business. This ensures that I, my team, and my workers are continuously improving our abilities and engaging in professional skills. For me, I will need managerial skills to be able to oversee the company.
The above-listed tools are steps I will take now to walk towards achieving my dreemspace.
