This is my response to last week's prompt on the hive naija community which I missed. But I decided to write on it anyway. I will still write on this week's prompt.
I started blogging around 2016, that was before my discovery of the steemit and hive crypto-powered blogging platforms. Then I operated a couple of websites. But, unfortunately, my first attempt at blogging was met with little success.
I discovered the hive platform around 2019. After perusing the website I became enchanted with it and fell to using it. I may not have achieved great things on hive but with the much I have achieved, I am happy I discovered it when I did.
Blogging on hive have been a profitable venture for me and I wish I came across it earlier than I did. But all the same I am happy for the opportunity it offers me to provide value to others through writing, and getting paid in the process.
Now back to the prompt question. Yes, there a few other activities I engage in with my phone to help rake in the extra cash. They are mostly crypto related.
Cryptocurrency HODLing
This is one of the activities I engage in with my smartphone for cash. I carry out research on promising crypto coins and I buy and hodl them till they appreciate considerably.
I was introduced to this by a friend. We often engaged in it together. We would, every week make money available and after our research of various crypto products we purchase and store them in a wallet, mostly the Trust Wallet. Some of the coins I hold are: Luna, Baby BTC, Little Rabbit, Little Mouse, BNB, amongst several others.
Futures And Options Trading
I also trade futures and options on Binance. I can describe myself as a beginner in this activities since it's not been long I discovered them. But they, nonetheless, provide me with decent money, even if it's not much.
Since these types of trading activities are highrisk, I do them with great caution. I have reliable trading strategies and a good risk management system. Also I only invest what I can afford to lose, which is a very important rule in options and futures trading. Also I try to avoid emotional trading.
I put in a lot of effort daily studying and analysing the charts and perfecting my strategies and also developing new ones. I hope to go from beginner to advanced level in a few years time.
Crypto Airdrops

I also engage in the collection of crypto airdrops from crypto projects that are about to launch. It's not been long I started doing this, but I think it is worth the while.
Making Money From Sundry Online Platforms
I also corner in some little cash by performing different activities on different platforms, where you can take surveys, watch videos, read news, answer questions, etc for significant amounts of money. Though I haven't been successful with all of them.
In conclusion, these activities I have listed above may not be bringing in lots of cash but they help provide me with extra money when I need it. I believe they will become more profitable to me with the passage of time.
