These few years I have seen men and women going into depression immediately they are given notice from their offices to start preparing for their retirement.
The main reason why these people go into depression is because they failed to plan towards their retirement age,they failed to have a strategic plan in place.
These days most people in my office who were supposed to be retired have manipulated their documents to enable them have extra active years in office.
People should be looking forward to their retirement age and not running away from it.
Our retirement age should be enjoyed if you ask me.
It is very important to note that it is not even advisable to rely or depend on our pension as a means of survival during our retirement age/ period.
The Time is NOW..
The best time to plan for our retirement age is our youthful age,now that we have the strength, capacity, intelligence to work. You will agree with me that a time is coming when we would no longer be agile, both brain Wise and body wise.
Life is meant to be enjoyed,we shouldn't suffer in our youthful age and also suffer in our old age,so the time to plan is NOW.
You can't afford to work for an organization in your entire life,so this is where retirement comes in.
What plans do i have towards my retirement age???
Now to the question of the day,what are my retirement plans???
Yes!! to me,i would say that I am already on my plans towards my retirement age, reason being that i have always desired to get married early,have my desired number of kids and start training them early through school.
This will enable me to rest from payment of school fees in my old age.
At my retirement age,my kids should all be working class and probably married,at least the first child.
Secret Personal Savings.
I have a secret personal savings account which i transfer some tokens every month,this account is a no go area for any of the family,i don't touch the money in the account no matter what,so far so good God has been helping me to save towards that.
Acquisition of Landed Properties.
I also have the plans of getting lands in mass, getting them fenced.I will use part of the land for agricultural farming.The farming will comprises of fish farming,i will go into piggy. farming,i will use some of the land to build houses for renting.
As we all know that lands appreciates everyday,so it's a good business for me.
Hospitality Business
This has been one of my biggest dream,to have a very big hotel that will be the family inheritance,which will be supervised by one of my kids.
With all this in place,i have my regular vacations to places and countries of my choice.I will also go for my medical checkup to ensure and keep proper record of my health.
My kids would not be far from me because i will take turns in visiting them and taking care of my grandchildren.
I receive the grace to achieve all my plans.
