Hi everyone, my name is Caleb Bethel but you can call me @calebbeth as that is also my username on Hive. I am dark in complexion, 27 years old and a Nigerian from Abia state, one of the fastest developing eastern states in the country. Let me tell you a little bit about my childhood. I was born in Umuahia being the capital of Abia state on the 30th of march as the fourth child but the first son in a family of seven, my mum and dad inclusive. Here I had a tiny bit of my nursery and primary education. I had my primary education until the end of my primary 4 term then I moved to Port Harcourt where I concluded my primary and secondary education. I am in relationship with most amazing person on earth @shasha90
I am graduate of the unique University of Port Harcourt with a bachelors degree in accounting. Being a student of the University of Port Harcourt was one of the most amazing experiences of my life though at first I never wanted to school in the same state where I had almost all of my childhood, you can tell how boring it must have been and how I wanted a new experience far from home. After a few weeks in school, I got to love the experience and the people I met. One of the things that stood out for me in all of my experiences was the fact that I did not have to spend so much to run back home during breaks, plus in the days of “sapa” (Nigerian slang for being broke), I could always run back home for reinforcements……...lol.
Being a lover of food, another striking experience that I won’t forget in a hurry is being introduced to “mishai” (A Nigerian sandwich made with very soft agege bread and fried egg then tossed on the hot fry pan) ……hmmm, every food lover would agree that the first bite is an out of this world experience. I most times would wish that the school experiences would be repeated.
I graduated with a second class (upper division) in the year 2019. After graduation, I have worked with a few reputable organizations in various industries like, hospitality, tech, sales and marketing. I am currently working remotely as a sales development manager.
On the days or times that I am not working, I spend my time reading, taking pictures, seeing movies(action), cooking and singing. On a general note, I would like to refer to myself as a polymath as I can do a little bit of so many things. I am certified chef, I have a diploma in photography, I am a self-taught poet, I am a videographer, I love to teach and give motivational speeches, I sing pretty well and a lot of other things.
I was introduced to Hive by @treasuree and I am quite hope that it is going to be a fun and innovating experience connecting with you.
I am optimistic that this has been a great read for you as I am buckling up to share more exciting experiences on my subsequent posts.
