In our global system today, poverty and hardship have taken over. Millions of people around the world don't have access to necessities like food, clean water, good health, education, and even have no place to lay their heads. All because of a lack of money, unemployment, and bad governance, which now leads to poverty.
This is a major injustice, and it needs to be addressed.
I believe that one way to end poverty is to increase access to education, job opportunities, and job and skill training. When people have the skills and knowledge they need to get good jobs, they can lift themselves out of poverty. This is not only good for the individual, but also for society as a whole.
Another important issue to address is inequality. In many countries of the world, there are huge gaps between the rich and the poor. This inequality is not only unfair, however, getting rid of it is an option because it leads to social violence, it reduces the level of happiness and trust among people especially the less earner and the poor.
If I am to terminate this issue as a world changer, I will ensure equal opportunities, and I will create and implement policies on equality so that everyone has a chance to succeed.
I would also focus on discrimination and prejudice. All too often, people are judged based on their race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. This is wrong, it limits people's ability to believe the negative thing being said about them, so it needs to stop. If only tolerance and understanding were promoted, our world would be just and free from discrimination and prejudice.
If I were to change this issue, I would teach people to respect and appreciate diversity and to see that everyone is deserving of dignity and respect.
Finally, I would also focus on environmental degradation. Our planet is facing several serious threats, including climate change, deforestation, and the loss of biodiversity which causes serious harm, chronic medical illness, ss and even death around the world. As a world changer, I will stop any form of deforestation, I will enforce fines and punishment for illegal dumping of waste and refugees, and ensure proper sanitation.
Changing the world to a better place can be so difficult but beneficial, so if I got the opportunity to change our world today, I must make it easy, peaceful, and safe.
