I am so delighted to be participating in the #inleomonthly prompt today. The topic is: Do you make new friends in 2024? Friends are people who will stand by you both in difficult times and in times when things are okay with you.

Whenever I look back at my 2024, I am so happy for the beautiful things it brings to my doorpost. The year 2024 brings amazing people to my life—people who I can happily call my friends. They are people of great value. They came into my life and motivated me.
If there is something I am grateful for in 2024, it is the amazing friend the year introduced me to. I am this kind of person who is always careful when it comes to selecting people who I call my friends because I so much believe that people who you pick as a friend can either build you or destroy you. That is why I am so careful when it comes to people I call my friends. My dad will always tell me that it is better to be alone than to associate yourself with the wrong friends. When you have good friends, value them; genuine friends are very hard to come by.
Before I friend zone anybody, there is a standard I look out for: I want someone who can inspire, impact, and motivate me—someone who has the same vision as me. Such a friend must have my back, so will I.

I am so glad that the universe blessed me with amazing people, people who share the same goal with me, people who want me to grow as they are growing. There is nothing as sweet as seeing your friends always by your side, ever ready to help and assist you.
The Hive Block is that platform that blessed me with amazing friends. They have really been great friends, although I have not met them, but the way we talk, you would think that we have met each other for ages. Our friendship keeps increasing day by day, and our bond is really becoming so strong we promise to visit each other this year.
It was one of my friends I met on the blockchain that introduced me to an offline work I am doing now. She has really supported me financially. Before I came in contact with her, I used to think less of myself, but she helped me to boost my confidence. I am so happy that she helped me to the woman I am today. Look at the way things are going; I think God sent an angel in human form for me.
Oh yes, 2024 bless me with the best gift of friendship, and I can’t take her for granted; she is a treasure that 2024 bless me with. Thank you, dear friend, for being part of my 2024.
