Six years gone from the start, I could remember how little we all looked, young and innocent looking with the fear of what lays ahead as a student of the Federal University of Technology Akure. Now we are fully in our finals as we had our Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme defense presentation yesterday.
Some of you might be wondering why I decided to put on a Native attire for My internship defense. We are to dress corporate to defense and it can either be in English or Native. The material used in making my dress is called (ASO OFI) in the Yoruba land, I'll discuss more about it in my next post. (The processes of making it, how much value is attached to it, and a lot more)
We were meant to graduate in the year 2022 after a five year course, that's where we got the "class 22" from, but due to the clashes between the Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities that severally lead to academic strikes, our stay as an undergraduate has been elongated.
But yet we still give thanks to God for bringing us this far, and for his protection during the last 6 years, here we are still very mush complete. By God's grace, we would be graduating this December. We have a lot to accomplish before then, because as we all know, The end of a thing is always more tasking than the beginning.
Once again I would like to use this opportunity to congratulate all my school mates for making it this far.
