My Beloved Dogs, (Assuming I could communicate with them).

in #hive-11060last year

Looking at the birds in the sky, the animals in the wild and the domesticated ones!
I have always imagined or wondered how the world would look if we could communicate with them.

Would the world be at peace? or would it be more chaotic?

I watched a documentary of a bull and a dog, The dog grew up with the bull, and they were always together 24/7, but at some point, the farmer needed money, So he needed to sell one of his produce, But you need to see the way the dog was barking aggressively, It was so emotional.
The bull was taken away and subsequently, the dog refused to eat for like 3 days. The farmer did not have any other choice than to bring back the bull and the buyers were considerate enough to return it.

The best part of the clip was when they were reunited, It was a very touching scene! The dog was jumping and jubilating.

Can you imagine what the dog would have said to the farmer, if he was able to communicate with the farmer?

If I could speak and understand the language of a particular animal, I will choose Dogs. I Love Dogs! I know they come in breeds. I do love them but not all breeds, for example bulldog's.

If I could communicate with dogs, I wouldn't have lost my two beloved dogs consecutively!

Our first dog’s name was 'Wiston' I loved her a lot. When she was a puppy, we allowed her to stay inside for 3 months, she needed to stay outside because of her waste product.
The first night she was left to sleep up outside alone by herself, I can still remember her cry. But we don't have any choice, she need to get use to it. It made me remember, the first time we restrained her by placing a chain on her outside she looked so pitiful.
She was a white local dog, chubby and beautiful, she was the envy of all other local dogs in our community. She was also cool and fierce, but she doesn't bite. She can only do 'Shakara'.

When we relocated to our apartment, she has grown to become a mother, think she has given birth to at least two sets of children. People are always eager to buy her baby, she was well taken care of and her children are beautiful to sight.
After some months in the new apartment, we got 'Max', a German Shepherd, but he was always chained outside.

A day came and locals came reporting that our dog 'Wiston' bit a boy in the community.
Though we find it so hard to believe because she was not an aggressive dog, but because of the accusation, my Dad had to take responsibility for the treatment of the child.
But to our greatest surprise the second day we went to shop. By the time we came back, we saw stains of blood at our corridor, and immediately, we suspected that something had happened to Wiston, we started calling her name and she was nowhere to be found.

She was not like that, anytime she hears the sound of the car she was always the first person to give an happy gesture to us even before we get down from the car, she would have been wagging her tail and jumping.

Note: we don't usually chain her, just once in a while when we have visitors that don't like dogs around them.

Still in our confused state, a boy passed through, and we asked the boy, he said the dog was hit by a man in the environment that the man had killed the dog. We were so surprised that we couldn't believe.

We hoped in us that we'll still see her, but sadly, until now, whether she is dead or alive we don't know. Losing Wiston was very painful.

My Mom wanted to take it up by reporting to the police. But due to plea's, dad asked us to leave it, forgive and forget then we let go.

After three weeks of the incidence. On Sunday Max started showing some signs and we needed to call the vet doctor and explained to him, he said he couldn't come that Sunday morning and the vet's clinic doesn't frequently open on Sunday,
He said, In relationship with the symptoms that it was definitely poisoned! He requested that if the could made it to Monday morning, there might be a solution. Max was unable to make it to the night, sadly it died that evening.

Assuming I could communicate with Wiston, I would have known what exactly happened, because later we got to discover that it was the boy that was disturbing her, and She was trying to defend herself. The boy started running . He fell down and injured his kneels but because Wiston could not talk, nobody believed that the boy was not bitten by the dog.

Though we lost two dogs to the people of that community,
We didn't give up! My brother got an Eskimo, we named her Betty. At least she can stay inside. She is also beautiful and a darling. We got a cage for her outside, but we only put her in that cage if we are around.
I think the mistake we made was not getting cages for the other two dogs,
We wouldn't have lost them the way we did.
if we had thought of making a cage earlier but the loss of them made us learn the lesson the hard way.

I won’t forget Wiston forever.she was the one who opened my eyes to the love of dogs. I have forgiven the man who killed her. But anytime I see him, I always remember he killed Wiston.

Oh no 🥲, I do not like dog but your story got me emotional and I began to wish you could communicate with the poor dog. See how it lost its life, only if communication with this animal was possible, it could have explained better what transpired.

I hope Betty will stay long with you guys
