The month of July has passed and we move forward with the lessons and the experiences we accumulated. While I encountered a storm and still passing through it, I am very much grateful for who it has made me. I am not the same person I was last month.
Enough of that. I began the month with powering up 10 Hive. I really do not want to jinx myself and say oh this will continue but I have the faith that I will do my best and when it comes to Hive.
I also purchased some LGN. Staking LGN will earn me Hive divs. I owned about 13 of it as of writing this post, thanks to the magnanimous @raymondspeaks. So now, I own another five of it. Slowly, I will increase the numbers monthly.
I also delegated to @brofi. Delegating to that account earns you trickles of BRO that in turn increases your divs in Hive. I have just a little of over 700 HP. I will start by delegating just 50 and would gradually increase as my stake increases.
In July, I made my first buy out of Hive and that was the GIFU token spearheaded by Ray and a group of others. This is a long-term investment. I look forward to making more decisions like that. To know about GIFU head over to this post where they have their lite paper. It is still in the early days so you can get and hold a substantial amount this period.
@tengolotodo gifted me INLEO premium last month. I did not thread much but that will change. I have to earn Leo somehow to be active in LPUD. I will not go into details because planning seems to jinx me. However, I will do to the best of my abilities. I earned enough to subscribe for myself this month. That is a sweet feeling.
I have to say that July on Hive was good. Very good. My post streak was more than it has been in previous months. I have been more active than I used and I see the result.
What am I hoping from August? Abundance. I do not know how it will go in this month but I really hope for nothing but the best. For this to become a reality, I have to be willing to give my all. That is what I am doing. I have to settle rent soon, and boy am I glad for the HBD savings feature. Been saving since last year and I have accumulated enough to settle my rent for the coming year.
I am going on with my savings. I do not think I can say enough of how much Hive has influenced my life and played a major hand in keeping me afloat. For that, I will forever be grateful. I hope that a time will come when I can give back.
So, back to sending my 0.551 into the savings and taking advantage of the 20% it gives. If you have not been saving on Hive, you are doing yourself major injustice. Thanks to Tengo who would let me save in his alt account. I can open a new account but I do not want to. I have the ‘all in’ mentality and would feel pressured to post from that account too. I do not have the strength for that. I am good with this one. Maybe in the future. I am optimistic for this month of August thanks to the goodness that came with July.
