I grew up taking herbs when I was sick, my mum would get these leaves and cook them for me to drink and sometimes she would place the herbs in front of me and use a blanket to cover me to generate heat. Within a few days, I would be back up hale and hearty.
Second Place

I have been told bitter truths or painful truths about myself on different occasions. Honestly speaking, sometimes i see it as an insult when someone told me truths about myself because it's always painful. Well, it's good to know these weak points so as to make changes. When i was a teenager, one of my dearest friend back then, told me a painful truth that really touches my heart.
Third Place

The usage of herbs from my side of the continent is not just for medicine but it also considered a culture. Each tribes and ethnic groups have a distinctive usage of herbs that is passed down from generation to generation like a tradition. In those days no one really cared about getting diagnosed by medical practitioners, they had strong believe in the effectiveness of herbal medicine they could fetch from their farms and surrounding.
Congratulations to these talented individuals for their outstanding contributions. Now, we would like mention a few other entries that we deem exceptional.
